just use AudioSeS.dll in v17. probably you just forgot to use "crack" as your user id.do not use both crack file in the same time,the game might crash.now my game runs well with the crack

I'm a fan of this game but I only increase my supporter level every now and then. No point paying heaps for months with no major progress.

I don't think he will add new monsters for a long time yet as he's focusing on developing other aspects of the game. He's said it takes a long time to create them and rig the animations etc.

Well, it does not crash for me when go censored to uncensored. Crack in OP contains 2 versions, I used "alternative" (dxgi.dll).
I figured out the crashes if I played with censorship, but I tried, as advised above, to use a crack through a new game. As a result, it either crashes or says that the ID is incorrect. So I gave up and deleted this shit. I don’t understand what kind of support the author wants if he censors not giving even one scene at all so that people can appreciate the animation, and the game itself has many shortcomings and errors. As a result, it is true that versions up to 13-14, something new appeared and it was playable, and then nonsense ensued. I apologize if it is written crookedly, as I am using a translator

You're not supposed to look at them. The "ghosts" are hallucinations caused by going to emission zones or using your abilities too much. You can use neuro suppressants, masturbate, or give up to bring it up.

how is this even a problem u can always swap out a jammed weapon... its part of the diificulty level to prevent players from going all rambo mode, as the combat ai is pretty bad and not smart game makes up for this by cheating, its pretty easy to fool the ai, also i guess u are using a suppression module which also makes weapons jamm more often due to heat related issues....
It is a problem because you have to stop thinking only about the end game when you have all top tier gear, get your head out of your ass and think about the journey getting there. It's frustratingly annoying, and doesn't having two weapons means more carry weight? They "fixed" (ruined actually) the carry weight cheat so now it's not infinite anymore, just much more space. But that's whatever. There's subjective correlation between difficulty and fun. When your weapons almost always get jammed in the MOST CRUCIAL moment (especially if immediately other weapon parts gets jammed consecutively), it's just outright annoying.

Depending if this is first and foremost a porn game(since it's a porn game, it might as well be that), it shouldn't take itself too seriously to go out of it's way and make annoying mechanics. Some things are interesting having RNG, some are better off staying consistent. I like 'hard' fps and was totally fine when in older versions enemies were harder, more relentless, had better reactions and sniping, but this is just aint the way to go, there are better ways to increase difficulty. I'm sure more work, fixes and optimizations will go into the mechanic, but having the option of just disabling it would go a long way. Making a face value comparison, as it is, game was better without it by a long shot, hands down. Unless you're a glutton for punishment. This is bigger problem if you're highly pregnant and surrounded by low-infected enemies. 1 aim immobilizing hit and RIPieces.

I think an example of a decent formula could look like this:

Base chance to jam: 0% ;
For each missing point of durability: +1% chance for that part to jam ;

Chance modifier, and minimum successful shots guarantee post unjam based on weapon part tier:
Scrap +15% (3-5 next shots guarantee)
Legacy +5% (5-6 next shots guarantee)
Modern -20% (7-9 next shots guarantee) (yes, this means jams only occur if you're below 80% durability)
Composite -35% (11-21 next shots guarantee)

For each missing 25% of durability: -1 next shot guarantee.

If a jam occurred during a guarantee shot, it's okay if it's scheduled to happen at the next normal shot, but it will then trigger a new 'next shots guarantee'. The guarantee affects your gun as a whole, not just the part where the jam occurred. No more consecutive jams.

Ammo type can also be a factor but I'm not exactly sure what is the developer's idea behind ammo "quality". There's technically no such thing as "worse" and "better" ammo. Only more/less powerful depending on powder amount, and the projectile (JHP, FMJ, AP). (obviously cartrage type and compatibility isn't a thing in this game(yet?)).

This has to be one of the dumbest arguments because you are imposing your ideals on what a game should be and not considering what other people might want. You have 90% of the crap here on this site that is 90% porn and have basicly no game subject matter whatso ever. If that's what you want, go enjoy that and don't play what you don't enjoy. Personally I enjoy games that are more like 75% game and 25% porn. Having a strong foundation of a game is exactly what I want, but you don't see me running into all those VN threads telling them they need to be more game than trash. The dev can take their work as seriously as they want to. Its literally their vision and yet you are telling them they are wrong, because why, you don't agree with it?

It's not about % of game vs porn content. You can have any kind of balance of that as long as you make it work and make sense, and it'll be great.
Their vision at this point is to milk money from geniuses like you, regardless of their own emotions and dedications to a specific project. Anyone is free to voice their feedback. If they agree with it for whatever reason (brings more money, or fits better into the project as a whole) and change it to what people like me like, then we win, and people like you lose, or vice versa. It's fair game. Also, there are TONS of great games already, while great porn game hidden jewels that have both tons of porn and gameplay merit are a rarity. Somehow in your opinion - me criticizing this one thing means the game is trash and without the jamming mechanic it has no foundation. No. It's just that you disagree with me and you want this game to fail. I mean yeah, this mechanic adds 0 merit into the overall experience other than annoyance, I can play an older version and wait for a newer when it's fixed.... actually you just want to argue. That may be true, but even in most FPSes with gun jamming, it doesn't happen as often or there is workarounds to eliminate it. If this game was truly game first, then porn, then the gameplay would be better.

Its literally still in development... on a one man show. Updates that come out have a lot of tweaking because of things being unbalanced or not feeling right. Although if you want change, you should be in that discord because the dev doesn't come around here anymore. So suggestions kinda go unheard here.

the ai is pretty linear, once u figure out the number of npc and their patrol patterns, its just sneak kills easy even with shitty weapons, there is literally no replayability at all... your point? even the cheating AI can be defeated once u figure out the tactics to counter and its not that hard lmao... point is go stealth and its GG for whatever difficulty the game throws at u...

That's completely true, unfortunately. And it's fine if you do that most of the time, that's what kind of game it is. But doing it almost all the time is boring. When you have almost all top gear, It's fun going leeroy jenkins from time to time. Not rambo style per se, but John Wick more like

I think somewhere at v15 they implemented, from what I can tell, 3 handi-cap nerfs to NPC's. 1. While they do spawn, they are not completely generated, unfunctionable and unkillable. This means they no long snipe you from across half the map because they detected you. I don't know why they did that - attempt at nerfing them? attempt at optimization so their activity doesn't eat resources? (this actually made it impossible to snipe for very very far. You need to come close enough just for them to fully generate out of their T-pose. As example this can be seen at the west bridge of city outskirts, where you used to have a bunch of corporates.). 2. Often you hear them in pain state, even though you never shot them. Just randomly encounter an enemy on his knee for no reason. Actually don't like that, feels cheating. And not that kind of cheating that's simply convenience*, like having more inventory space so you don't need to do unnecessary backtracking to min/max selling loot (hope they make it seemingly infinite again.)
3. and just generally made AI weaker. When I started playing v14 it feels they were much stronger and sharp. Maybe I was just a noob.

I honestly rather they brought back those elements of difficulty, made them twice abnoxious and aimbot'y somehow for all I care, rather than deal with the current jamming. It's just that annoying for me personally. But I think someone mentioned it being reworked, so I'm looking forward to see what they come up with

According to the dev, this connection requirement is testing framework for a leaderboard system and other in-game stats tracking.
Mordona has accurately reported the dev's stated reasoning for mandating a server connection.

However, what anyone who pays for (or even just plays) v17 should at least consider is that testing a high-score board in no way requires the dev to force anyone to connect to a server.

Any possible multi-player features the dev may want to test can easily be gated behind an optional server connection. The excuse of "I just want to give you this extra content, so just connect here, don't worry about it" doesn't really make sense.

However, there are other goals that can only be achieved by making that connection mandatory. Aside from the obvious data safety concerns, enforcing the server connection prior to game launch ensures that players (including paying Patreon supporters) don't actually have any ownership of the end product.

If this was actually "testing for a leaderboard system" it wouldn't be forced, it wouldn't happen prior to loading into the game world, it wouldn't prevent you from playing offline, and it would be opt-in (disabled by default). Typically, a game dev will have an opt-in request to gather in-game stats for posting to a leaderboard system in an entirely singleplayer game; this would be disabled by default, and the option to opt-in will clearly define what data is being tracked. Some games put their leaderboard info on their store page (or however it's being sold), and will have it enabled by default, but these are usually very generalized stats (x amount of enemies have been killed this month by all players, etc), and the game is perfectly capable of being played in an offline setting.

While I agree that DRM in general is bad for everyone involved, I do at least understand the reasoning for wanting to have it when the only way to get the game is through a subscription service. The login requirement works as a deterrent, but of course cracks exist for this stuff with how that method is checked, and if a dev wants to keep fighting they will end up going with these more extreme routes of handling DRM. Considering all this, though, I have a feeling that Devolution won't be uploading public versions anymore, and will be far less empathetic with this forum. I know that I personally was fine with having a delayed public version that was the full NSFW game, just a build behind, and hope they end up continuing that at some point.

Also, if Devolution does come back to this forum, I think it'd be worth updating the screenshots/gifs at some point, as the game has changed a fair bit in these last 2.5 years. At the very least, could just append a couple new ones at the end, which showcase the newer models and such.

Server connectivity can be worked around. Like tricking the game into redirecting to a dummy server, that is client-side, to trick it into thinking it connected to the actual server. Its what a lot of cracks do to get around the Steam DRM. Then as its been tricked into going to the client-side, you save to the client-side server.

Testing for a leaderboard doesn't make sense anyway, as the game has no "success" or "failure" conditions built in. And to have a score, you need to check it to success/failure states. Like ADOM does its score-check if you win the game or reach permadeath. Old Wolfenstein 3D only did a score check if you completed the episode or ran out of lives. None of this is in place at the moment, so the argument its "for" a leaderboard system is a complete lie.

However, a server that is collecting information has to comply to GDPR, otherwise they'd risk getting into a lawsuit. Particularly as Patreon requires GDPR compliance to remain on Patreon, so if they found out you were in violation, you'd have to correct that to remain on Patreon.

Devolution didn't have any empathy for this forum. They uploaded builds far older than the main build, and so any feedback here would be massively out of date. Also it was rarely a build behind. It was typically 3+ builds behind.
