From what I see so far on discord, the dev is making a tutorial map next... yep, just another map. Apparently it'll take roughly one hour to complete before reaching the hideout. But he changed the lighting and did bug fixes, and get this.... HE IMPROVED BULLET HOLE WOUNDS. Oh and more side quests. Wooooo (sarcasm)

I think the fact that i'm more enthusiastic about better bullet wounds from all that says a lot.
So much stuff that needs to be refined
If that is really most of what the next update will be that's kind of a bummer for how long it's taking but we'll see.

People are just pissy that Devo isn't focusing on NSFW content, which is fair. This is a porn game, but they can move on to whatever alternative they choose because most of them aren't paying anyways.

I think most people come for the NSFW so it'd be very normal to show it some love, no ? Overall i myself am not too angry about how the develoment is going but it is very slow and the NSFW aspect pretty much hasn't changed since multiple updates. (except the horny bar which... exists and means you'll have to take a masturbation break every now and then where ennemies phase through you and cannot see you.)
The game needs a lot of refinement of the mechanics already here. Which i'm scared it never will get that. The dev seems more interested in adding stories, quests and maps. Which is fine i guess.... But in an extraction shooter, i would really like to not have to introduce myself 30 000 times to the shopkeep because i've been playing on permadeath recently. Stories kinda clutter the game for no reason.
At least while the game is in early alpha/beta so you have to do those stories again and again while you get crumbs of actual usable content

I'm not angry either.

It just felt like the latest updates brought mechanics that increased the difficulty and decreased performance.
I have supported plenty of games like these, some times for half a year. Some have been finished many haven't.
You can tell what this developers strengths are and I know that the mechanics that matter to me won't be fleshed out.

With all the good work Devo has put in his project, he also made it perfectly clear that he is so greedy he won't accept even 75/25 split. My honest opinion is we don't see many new animations for this exact reason, of all the revenue he is making, he won't pay animators what they are worth and just waits till someone accepts his gig on Fiver for 2 bucks...

I've thought that very same thing. Yuna is the one other game I'm supporting. Horn has a good balance of splitting up game vs porn elements, whereas Devo here is like a 96% vs 4%. Its just Yuna's gameplay feels janky but you can tell there is a lot of potential there.

Its frustrating that the "subscription" plan for Deltazone is to unlock NSFW content but so little time goes into that part of the development. More maps.. and another map. Oh look here's another map with the same mobs thrown into it. I get it, he needs places to put things when he does have content. But goddamn, every time he adds a map it feels like the game just gets a mile wider and a inch shallower. He focuses on what he can make well and ignoring what he needs to learn or hire and actually get done. At least there is optimization improvements coming, because fuck, that last version even taxed my system and made my room like 10°C hotter than it needed to be.

Not sure what you mean but there are multiple maps. The Outskirts where you initially spawn,

the Forest that got added recently,

the City Outskirts which leads to the City (the City is still outdoors, except for a few short areas you're not really inside anything, it's just much more close quarters combat because of the buildings),

then you've got the Swamp (Which i avoid like the plague because tentacles are everywhere and tentacles are just annoying as all hell),

most recent map is the Refinery that's got a lot of enterable buildings (and is honestly my favorite map. It's clearer to read, there's multiple workbenches and med bays, the map is streamlined and not a jumble of junk, it feels good.)

Behind the first area's shop was addded a quicktravel to travel to any map for a money fee (the only problem is when travelling to a new map you'll have to wonder where the f*ck you are on the map since you don't know your current position, also, the fast travel in the refinery is a bit bugged and will get you stuck, once the game decides to unstuck you there is a good chance you'll spawn right on top of a huge outpost of ennemies so that's cool... though you can access the refinery from the first map it's really close, so just do that instead of fast travel)

No, most of us are upset because it takes him four months just to add a few assets. Carnal Instinct or Parasite inside are also games that haven't received NSFW content, yet people complain less simply because those games have had significant updates in other areas—not just another empty map. This game is flawed in many ways, and worst of all, its core gameplay loop is broken. With the number of mechanics already present, it could be easily fixed—if the developer cared about anything other than milking Patreon and adding more DRM. It has said here already a few times. If instead of empty map, or another placeholder location like villa, or usless NPC like drone we would get one new finished enemy, and some more mechanics it would be more substantial development for the game than anything that happen in it in the last 2 years. NSFW content and lack of it are not most important here....

and now a question for the experts, who can tell me how to edit these animations in the game (the third screen)? I tried the plugin for blender, but it refuses to import these files because they do not contain a skeletal mesh. Here, the animation files contain only the points where the vertices are moved, only from where and to where, without a skeleton. If it takes a ton of work, then I think I'll give up on this idea. Maybe there is some quick solution.

How are you exporting it? UE stuff isn't my forte and I'd like to take a crack at it.

Granted i didn't try skyrim sex mods without other mods in between, but as modding is bound to be, especially for a whole system that isn't in the base game, skyrim (sexlab for example) is really, really, really buggy.
Also,in skyrim it feels tacked on, it's just animations on animations, not even cumshots, it is one of the only alternatives, but that's why Delta Zone has such potential, it's only competitors are very buggy.

Honestly I know it’s been said to death at this point but why do PORN game creators like to focus on anything but the porn? It’s like he wanted to make a hardcore survival extraction shooter, realized he wasn’t able to make one that stood on its own merit, then added the gimmick of some admittedly good pregnancy/porn? Basically just front loaded it in the beginning just to hook people then neglected it. Maybe the reason why people would rather pirate is because people do some research into what they are supporting and realize a tutorial level isn’t worth 40 dollars and practically 4 months of waiting.
