My man The Emperor gave you eyes you should use the to READ not to just SEE.

you see the "doesn't" in the second part there ?

From what i can understand from the funny wizard man's words making a DRM is hard enough to do when you have a team but this man - the other funny wizard - Devolution was able to do it solo. From what little programming i know i'm amazed.

I mean ya'll got the damn crack, you don't pay anyways why are you all hating on a solo fella trying to make some money?
Keep in mind this fella has life, a job (something about a university was it ?) and is (was, idk if it changed) making the game on their free time and again, as a solo dev.
You don't even need to pay all the time too you could just pay like - every 3 months instead of all 3 months (every release), 6 months idk - to support.
Or just simply don't pay at all, use the crack but shut the fuck up like damn brothers you got me feelin pressured here i can't imagine how the dev feels or if they care at all.
There are a million other games around nsfw or not, if the updates are slow for you just pass the time with them.
Sorry for this long paragraph but ya'll are wilding and don't make any sense at all.
They made the DRM because they feel they need to protect their financial supply. They had intended to complete Lazerzombies and then release DeltaZone, because they didn't think the cash flow would be good enough. Then it was, and suddenly ensuring that flow doesn't dry up, became a priority. And then stopped devving Lazerzombies. Hence the DRM before the game is even a game or enjoyable.

"Why are you hating on this solo fella." Same reason people hate on Electronic Arts. They force you to pay a high price just to play, paywall you to get the full experience, and then lock even more stuff behind a greater paywall, for those that really want to be a cash whale for them. The only difference is that EA at least gives you a completeable game for the price they want.

Just because they have a real-life job, doesn't get them a pass when game updates get delayed. Thomas Biskup, the developer of ADOM, is a CEO of a company of 150 people. That doesn't stop people from getting pissed off at him, when updates take 4-6 months to do.

As for why people are so interested in this specific game, and not moved on, really you should consider that. Because the porn is great and can't be found elsewhere.

Name one game that has really nice belly expansion with visible eggs/tentacles, dripping slime/cum, gaping, and bouncy physics. I can't. Wild Life doesn't have that. True Facials/Head Game might have the dripping slime/cum, but otherwise, there is no other pornographic experience available that does even 20% of what Delta Zone does. But, despite all it can do, its hamstrung by this desire to create a game first, and then maybe the porn later.

So people get annoyed with this one, because the porn is on the backburner, the gameplay is on the backburner, and the only real major changes between builds is more DRM, more bugs, and graphical improvements that only those with an High-quality rig can enjoy.

Hope this sheds light on why people are so bitter here.

point u are missing is the number of games that are abandoned, its all a process of priorities as everyone has XX numbers per day, what u highlighted shows some of that intent i.e. specific game unlike any other..., but did u even pause to sit and think after the so called specific are its main selling points with each updates its still the same old specific animations nothing new, again time spend on drm achieves nothing as game isnt even at a stage where millions of players are willing to dumb cash into it... it's kinda of killing the goose that lays golden eggs.. time will tell perphaps in the next 10 years *cough* *cough* star citizens haha.....

Yes. That is what is meant/implied by the stuff being on the backburner.

We've had no improvements to the existing animations to fix clipping or non-collisions. Game has one of the most impressive tentacle rigs and yet we get maybe 1 new animation with it, a year. It would be like Bob Ross painting one picture a year, when he has the skills to make 15 a month, but is wasting his skills doing other things, like learning how to cook (he once joked that his cooking is so bad he'd burn koolaid). But despite all the feedback prioritises cooking, despite it being the worst aspect of the title and doesn't even bother to bugfix things. I'd be more forgiving if bugs I reported back in Release 10, weren't still in Release 16 (haven't been able to play due to the server)

We've had no bugfixes addressing specific issues raised multiple times, over several releases. Like how full composite is somehow worse than modern. Or that specific ammo is so unreliable that you'd only use it if desperate, like 12guage. Or that the AI cheats; you alert one guy, and suddenly everyone knows where you are, even though the one guy is the only one that spotted you and you went and hid two buildings away, yet they beeline to you, even though you aren't making any noise with no lights active.

Shitty update/s aside, the map changes are actually really good. Much more accessible and beginner friendly. I was in the process of editing my guide video for Version 17, but I guess that's gonna be scrapped for now.

I like to explore and I agree there are new things to see on the highway map at least. He seems a bit indecisive with changing certain things multiple times tho. I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out why he wanted to make a porn game when he clearly seems focused on the FPS portion of it. And I still don't see how these two things evolved from a single idea in the first place. I'm not convinced he is the creator of Ivy's model because I cannot imagine putting that much time and love into that exquisite female model with so much beauty and detail only to disregard it nearly completely to focus on the FPS content.

idk but v18 seems to tone down the OP AI alot AI now doesnt detect light and shoot as accurate.., guess its done to allow for more npcs spawns which is a plus... the standard version is playable NSFW too, just that the inventory limitations is game breaking.....

this game's entire development lore is both extremely impressive and so stupid at the same time lmfao

Because not all of us want a porn game with basic game elements. Some of us like developed games with porn elements. There are thousands of VNs that barely constitute as games if all you want is the porn element. This game will be the perfect balance I want in the genre I want with the fetishes I want. Does that make it right? No, Its whatever the Dev wants to make, their vision. Believe it or not, most of us will not align with your tastes no matter what thread you go into here.

Most likely reasons:

1. They knew that FPS indies don't do well, and knew that people like Porn, so they baitted the porn enthusiasts and switched them with a FPS. Without the porn, there is honestly many better indie FPSes on the market. The game plays like Novalogic's Delta Force for the player in terms of mechanics and difficulty, but plays like COD for the enemies, in terms of tactics, weapon usage, and health spongyness.

If you don't know what Delta Force is, it was a military-style shooter in the early 2000s, where you had 3 hp. If you took damage, you didn't ever recover health. You had to take it slow, stealthy, and consider tactics when dealing with groups. And if you went in guns blazing, you frequently would lose all 3 hp. So you had to use cover, had to go prone for 10-15 minute periods to sneak into position, had no support but were fighting groups of 5+ enemies and had to pick them off one-by-one. You had very limited ammo, two weapon limit, and no resupply of ammo mid-mission or grabbing enemy guns.

Remind you of a FPS we are playing?

But... the enemies also had all the drawbacks the player had. They'd die in 3 body shots (or 1 head). They'd never regenerate health. They had limited ammo and would flee if they ran out of ammo. They'd have to reload. They would have to hunt for you carefully to find you, and with the maps literally 10x10 km for each mission, if you chose a good spot to snipe from, they'd never find you. But reaching that spot, often required tedious slow movement and you'd have to be careful with muzzle flares and silencers. So they might see the flash of your muzzle after a couple shots, and beeline for your position.

-----

2. They are gay or they are a female developer or some other reason, and just don't find the female naked form that attractive. So they work on it when needed to, but they aren't sexually interested in the model and doesn't see the same draw as the male audience does and so doesn't prioritize it.

-----

3. They had wanted to fully develop LazerZombies first, and release it as a finished project, but scrapped it when Delta Zone funding took off faster than expected.

-----

4. The ones who pay for it, at the investor tier, are likely gay or women themselves, and aren't interested in the porn and want more FPS content. So they push the developer to focus on it over sex animations.

-----

5. People really want a Porn Tarkov. They don't like Tarkov on its own, but don't like porn galleries/sandboxes either, so they are supporting a developer creating both.

You also had AI with wallhacks that would pre-fire an RPG at you before you even turned a corner, so it would hit and kill you the instant you appeared. All of this from ranges of over 200m. Otoh, sometimes if you rushed them around the corner you could stand 0.5 in front of them and they would crouch and be looking around frantically and not see you.... Btw., hats off to you, sir, for knowing that venerable game! There were also other in that series and using that engine (which was pretty unique cause it didn't use polygons like all other games).
Btw., ever played Joint Operations online? I absolutely freaking LOVED that game, was actually one of the games that got me into online gaming, together with America's Army.

I never heard of Delta Force. Sounds rough. I once played Pitfall on Atari and my brother convinced me to play it from beginning to end without taking any hits. Something about the developers of the game would be impressed or something and maybe offer a reward. Thats the extent of my hardcore gaming days.

Oh gosh... Joint Ops' AI was insane with seeing you through foliage from a mile away. Ex-America's Army player from v1.1.1 to 2.8.5 here. Stopped when v3 came out. I miss classic Bridge Crossing.
