For those who struggle to get good FPS like me. Here's how you can get the same frames I got;

Firstly, this guide is for AMD graphics cards (It might work on nVidia systems but I don't have an overpriced paperweight to test.), so be warned.

You're gonna want to go to AMD's driver software (Adrenalin), then follow the steps below.

I'm not a computer wizard so any technical support you might need should be directed at a smart person or Google. Hope this helps everyone since I also find it fucking unplayable ever since I got a new monitor. 900p to 1080p makes a big difference.

Just an advice - don't use AMD Fluid Motion Frame driver setting with in-game FSR Frame Gen. In this case you get double frame gen - "bad" driver one on top of "good" in-game one. Not mentioning FMF tries to generate frames not knowing the context and the most noticeable result of this is ruined in-game UI and bad latency. Better use Frame Gen only - definitely lower FPS but much better result.

I was aware of the caveats, and the UI gets insanely bad at some points, but it's worth it when your game runs at 20-30 FPS and you get killed because of it.

Notably that FMF isn't great; artifacts pop up a lot and if your actual FPS is much lower than the display it can seem as if you're seconds behind your inputs and the game looks like a stop-motion animation.

For me it's a worthwhile trade-off and necessary as this game is a nightmare to run, especially on my system where I'm running two different sticks of RAM with underpowered parts.

Yeah, I supported some of the devs and artists here for a while until I realized that's a pipe dream. I am able to run other games with stable framerates but this one's just an absolute shitshow of performance.

I dont know if the dev configured it at all, i am not sure so its probably running at "default" settings. The dlss update just means that i changed the dll file to the newest one.
And i am not sure if its done anything at all.

Permadeath. ~17K cash and ~34K+ worth inventory. Full Corpo clothing and near full Structural gun (I almost got two full Structurals if my game didn't crash and send me back to the Hideout, losing over 25K in gear and money). Decently high-tier cyberware and near-perfect reputation across all three factions. Only took me a few hours.

I think first of all, the graphics card error problem should be fixed. The actual game is very beautiful but it has flaws that waste our work.

Is the game better optimized these days? Last I tried it, it was like a year ago or so. I'd love to give it another shot, especially if there's more content but I wanna know if there's more settings options like Vsync, FPS cap, etc.

Honest question. Have you tried playing it on Low?

The game looks very detailed on Low. Its equivalent to playing it on Medium/High in regular games. I have a stronger PC but I actually prefer playing it on Low for the fps gains. Try it!

Also yes there's a FPS cap. Can't remember about Vsync but I doubt it's forced on. Now is a good time to jump back in.

Not to say he didn't, but once you play a bit in permadeath, then the giving up mechanic suddenly becomes your best friend.
You don't die in a dangerous situation AND you can see a H scene, that's a win-win

There are a list of different ways you can utilize the sex mechanics to abuse gameplay;
- spamming WASD to move during a sex scene
- using the nude/surrender mechanic to trick enemies into running towards you with zero caution
- SFW switch to skip sex scenes, including cum (cum/impreg is only triggered by the scene where the tentacles and/or humans cum inside you.)
- spamming Esc and Tab to allow you to move during dialog and kill every single enemy on the map without being aggro'd

If this game is gonna cheat against me, I might as well do the same.

there's mechanics besides that one????

There are so many things that this game has under it because there isn't a comprehensive wiki or something. I literally didn't even notice that there was a new map (Forest) and am exploring right now.

Also my Stash is bugged full of storage and I'm trying to transfer my Perma save to normal because I literally have a hundred thousand Euros right now.
Edit: Just reached Lux, apparently Devo finally implemented weapon unlocking? Should've probably known that before I sold a bunch of full Structurals.

So, I've been having issues making version 21 work with the patch (kept getting a "download new version from patreon/subscribestar" error message.) and decided to try kekpuker's version 22 patch on it.

Works flawlessly (just in case people with older versions are still out there)

Due to reasons unknown to me, my Ivy has constantly smeared eyeliner.
I think the does this by default to you, while being... "helped"... from other inhabitants...

For quite a period of time, my Ivy was able to stand "untouched".

I know there's a cometic option for that, so when I turn it off, well, it stays off for about five seconds, then the game turns it on by itself again.

Is that buggy, or what am I missing?

I don't like my Ivy being chronically under gothic makeup.
