Not abandoned, but moderators don't update threads when always online DRM is used. V17 introduced it. Until a crack can bypass the server, this thread will remain at v16.

im like.. 90% sure there was a crack for v17 which i used and it all worked. I deleted the game though

wait i didnt delete it, i still have it. The cracked v17. Who wants me to upload lol
I was able to play v17 with the old crack, but the performance seemed to be a lot worse on v17 so didn't find it worth playing over 16.

You guys are trying to hard, there is no legendary "cracked v17". It's the same crack install that's been used since at least v14, if you look back a few pages, I saw someone recently reposted the entire guide. It's a super simple crack to install, 546nsfw will never be used again. If the crack is working correctly, your login should simply be "crack". I haven't noticed anything weird about the online stuff, but I have been deleting the weatherPreset.json in the DeltaZone/Content folder every time after closing my game to keep playing without immediately being kicked out after logging in again.

Between these 2 heroes, anyone can play the latest version full of eggs and tentacle glory. I understand the search feature is no longer helpful, as this thread is so long, so anyone looking for v17, crack, cheat, 17, please follow these 2 gentlemen to guide to fap heaven, or pure anger if you like tarkov or something.

Last few releases is every 3 months. Last release was Nov 9th I believe. So, then the next release should be around Feb 9th, 2024.
We skipped version 17 since it's basically just a forced online DRM and little to no content additions. You're right in thinking it's been a while, cause version 16 came out in August 2023 lol. As DKOC above pointed out: an update is usually the first week of every third month, so version 18 should be early February.

ive only recently discovered the game and compared to others like it, its refined in the First Person perspective but why is the third so bad ? it doesn't have a jump animation and why cant i shoot? the animation packs in the epic store aren't expensive. the game looks good but im afraid thats all i have to say about it for now. it feels like 2d movement with 3d mechanics like i cant explain it well.
the porn side is an entirely different thing, there is no control over anything even with the investor class option, and from what ive seen its been like this for years?
it looks fantastic but its not focusing attention on fixing its elements, and it isnt adding animations consistently either? and the fps if the best part but it still feels off, why does it feel like insurgency sandstorm? but without the ability to vault and why are there so many fences? and the speeder bikes need to jump 5 obstacles back to back to get anywhere

It is a first person shooter after all so the third person view is just there to look good during the H-Animations or for when you want to cheese looking around corners and Debug. You are not supposed to be in Third-Person-Perspective all the time at the moment.
I do not know what gives you the impression that you should have control over the H-Animations but direct control was never on the books for this game, so obviously there has never been any change. On the road map it says that, at some point, there will be a way to influence the NPC's action during these Animations but I highly doubt that it will result in you getting total control.
Because the game is trying to replicate the use of firearms as realistic as possible, with the resources available, which is why it feels like Insurgency or Escape from Tarkov. It is also still getting worked on.
Maps are still getting worked on, so fences and walls are used as map borders on some. Also, it is not that unrealistic for there to be fences, since people would have owned property there, before every thing turned into the Tentacle infested wasteland it is now, using fences to keep people off their property, like they do in most semi-industrial zones irl.

Why does the game not appear when you put the name in the search on the site? The game is only found here (https://f95zone.to/sam/latest_alpha/#/cat=games/page=1/search=delta zone), it’s weird. Also, you can’t see the game on Google when you search for it, except for the developer’s patreon. Would the game have been abandoned or censored? There is a new version that has been released, according to the patreon, version 0.17

I found the archive containing version 0.17.
I installed the first crack, it works a little bit at first, and then there is an error code and a crash.
I installed the alternative, however, same thing, there is a crash.
Did I miss the instructions or do I have to wait for another crack?
