mass test with feedback, thats where u lost me mate, isnt it better to rollout a playable enjoyable game with fps game mechanics first since not having an animator is holding back having more animations, but really what is more important at this stage, is getting a fun playable game with challenging npc/ai etc.. which its not clearly even close to at v18..., having more players means MORE feedback.. but trying to prevent freeloaders at this so very early stage.. I am really sorry but my intuition is telling me that this is just to get more cash from having sponors/backers.... take note free loaders in this stage helps iron out bugs and problems.... idk but at the end of the day it's the developers choice what to focus on....my 2 cents...

I mean your not wrong, but at the same time how does one person (or a team of devs for that matter) find every bug? They don't. Every game that goes out, alpha or beta or hell, even full releases have bugs that the masses will flush out. This game isn't in the late stages, its still in its early development. So he is playing a balance game, some testing of new tech. Some flushed out designs, some polishing, some debugging, and when he can an animation. Same for the backers argument, its all a balancing act. Yes, more might be get you more testing, but at the same time when you tack on free, your quality of reports goes down.

Wild Life.. I think that game develops based on your ideal. They use a mass pool of feedback. They polish all those little ideas from the last release and then add 8-16 more animations. Its pretty awesome they can even do that, I watched the animator streams and its pretty amazing how fast they can chug out a animation. But to my view and opinion, the gameplay in that game uttery sucks. Everything but the animations feels clunky, basic and unpolished. How long has that game be in its alpha stages and still feels like its gotten no where but a glorified gallery? Then again I'm sure a lot of fuckers love that, and that's their opinion. I just personally like games that are in balance.

I deleted the files as well, but trying to change the connection settings prevents the game from starting.
I went back and forth trying to figure it out for a couple hours, but between trying to delete individual files and change individual settings, the only thing that stopped the game from working was the connection settings.

If i delete the files, but leave the connections settings alone, the game/crack works.

Odd realization though, I didnt have this issue with previous versions of the game/crack. They always just worked without me changing or deleting anything.

this is because the game DRM is at the developers server site which stores all subscribers id..., the cracks works due to a logic error on the developers code or a loop hole, that is the reason why outgoing traffic has to be blocked, but once u save the game the code detects that that save with the crack2 userid is invalid hence the save game is now invalid, note all subscribers user id is stored at the developers end..noone wants to patch this every 3 months ... just be thankful that there is at the very least a way to bypass the drm for now... the next version this will be patched out too...fyi

Seems like there's just no point in playing it at all if it's gonna be such a pain to test out. It's completely fine to do whatever he wants with it, but it's definitely gonna dissuade more people from wanting to fork it over for a game that fights them for a preview then if there was just limited content or bonus supporter content. Same problem with other non-nsfw games where the playtest experience is ruined by having to fight the game instead of getting a legitimate preview or demo. Whatever he wants to do IG. I do understand the frustration with Patreon. It does incentivize to prolong projects. We seen this time and time again with many projects based from that system. On the other hand, it does allow small times with no investors to get off the ground and develop a project. Its far easier to find investment when one only needs to give $1-10 USD worth. Rather than thousands in upstart or sponsorships that curate your project. Itch is nice, and it far benefits the consumer since there is a single time fee, but that also doesn't incentive the producer as much, nor does it create a stable income so one can focus on their project. Even steam is nice and usually guarantees a good income on release, but it to also curates your content.

There is no perfect system for indy devs. At least we have options in the day and age.

Technically this only applies to indie devs that do porn games. All other devs have to find income from other sources, such as publishers, crowdfunding, or financing from the sales of previous games. Its only porn devs that can take advantage of Patreon for consistent funding.

And I don't see people as fuckups for not being able to provide investor tier. Rather that blame falls on the developer for forcing this online DRM. If there was no online DRM, the original crack would be functional. So maybe people should redirect their anger on the one actually responsible... is that your suggestion?

v18 is pretty easy FYI, compared to v16 where the AI cheats.. v18 AI or there seems to be no AI at all, just cones of zones which u can easily snipe from far.., it shows where all that 6 months effort from v17-v18 when *DRM*... opening up areas that existed from prior versions yea even that is still a buggy mass.. fact is the game is just a porn game after watch XX number of times u kinda of get bored as gameplay wise there is literally nothing fights are soo easy its not any challenge at the highest difficulty....since inventory has weight issues i just use one gun to clear the zones...

I wish things were different and Dev was here providing the old version for free, so I get your frustration. As a "pirate" myself, I tend to approach with humility and respect for those that do the hard work, both devs and those that crack the games we play for free. I understand DRM and the right to protect ones work, and I also understand why we do what we do here. I just felt terrible for the visceral response to that standard tier crack.

Yeah, I get that. This was just the first game/time ive had to deviate from the instructions on how to run it hence my original comment about having to leave the outgoing connection to get past the accepted screen. idk why it is working for me this way but it is.

About the DRM crap, I get wanting to protect his work truly i do. But seems to me to be a wasted effort on his part if he isnt going to care about people cracking past the DRM (There was a post earlier about him not seeming to care when he was offered info on how to block the crack).
From my point of view the only reason to go through this much effort and time (which is all wasted the moment he ignores info on a crack and allows it to continue) on this early of an alpha version of a game is because he has no intention of finishing it. Given he is pulling close to $6000 a month on Pateron alone, which is more than i bring home making $30 an hour at a full time job with a minimum of 8hr overtime each check, and he can only push out a half thought update every 3 to 6 months just means he doesnt care about the game or his investors at all. There are too many people looking to work on a project like this for him to have any excuse not to hire help at that much investment a month. Assuming the dev is also working a normal job to support themselves and not living solely off of the investors, then there is definitely no reason why he cant get a team to help with the game. Im not saying he should hire a whole studio of people, but even 2 or 3 others to flesh out animations and content would mean way more content in his updates and the game being finished sooner.

I have no issue supporting devs monthly, but if im paying monthly then i need to see content released monthly. Im still supporting Operation Lovecraft even though I have access to it on steam because they are outputting content regularly.
Even at this games $22 a month tier, theres just not enough of a game, or new content coming in to justify the cost.

And the really sad part is this has to potential to be an amazing game! It has some of the best animations and fluid/pregnancy mechanics ive seen so far, but I have little hope it will ever be finished.

Read carefully.

A) I had problems with crack, it didn't work for me either.
B) I've done a few things and the crack now works.
C) I've been playing for 1 hour and haven't been disconnected yet.
D) The crack will allow you to play without censorship.
E) Unfortunately, you'll NO LONGER have access to the cheats that usually come with the "Investissor Class" account type.
Why? because the person who made the crack is now paying for the "Standard Class" version, which doesn't give you access to the cheats.

To do this, follow these instructions.
I'll also provide some screenshots to back up what I'm saying.

1. Put the game folder on your desktop or in C:\Games\Delta_Zone (shortest possible path).
2. Add to your Antivirus :
- The game folder
- DeltaZone AND Delta Zone Shipping executables (located in \DeltaZone\Binaries\Win64
- to be on the safe side, also add the crack called "DevolutionUserID-crack2.lic".
3. Check that you have given read and modify rights to the game folder (this allows the game to create files when it needs to. this very often causes problems when not done:
- Right-click then "property" on the folder then "Security" then "modify" and select each of the user groups and check at the bottom all (don't check "total control") and apply. Do the same for both executables and the game folder.
4. Apply executables as administrator. Right-click, then "property", then "compatibility" and check "Run this program as administrator".
5. Go to your firewall. Go to advanced settings.
- In "Incoming traffic rules", click on "New rule" and add the two executables, filling in the fields. Check to authorize the connection. Once done, it will be added to the list. You can remove them at any time via this lite. This allows you to authorize incoming Internet connections to your network (since you need to connect to the game server).
- Do the same with "Outgoing traffic rules". However, exception: instead of allowing the connection, block the outgoing connection. For security reasons, and to prevent data being sent from your network.
6. Make sure the version 18.1 crack file is installed in the right place.

F) It is ALWAYS necessary to delete
- the webcache_4430 folder
(C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\DeltaZone\Saved)
- the DeltaZone_PCD3D_SM6.upipelinecache file
(C:\Users\YourNameAppDataLocalDeltaZone\Saved)
- weatherPreset.json
C:\Games\Delta Zone v18.1\DeltaZone\Content

Unfortunately, you need to delete these files before launching the game EVERY TIME.
Why? I don't know, I'm not a developer. I imagine that these files store data, and that each time you log in with a different identifier that doesn't match the old one, the server detects it. In any case, the server plays a vital role in detection, like a DRM.

Yes because the NSFW mode is only available for paying members, so to speak, all levels. However cheats are only available for the highest level, the "Investissor Class".

I don’t know, either the developer improved the DRM that forces us to delete our backup before launching the game, or the creator of the crack no longer wished to update it for this version because he received no recognition for his work, from what some people have said. I’m sorry, even I have problems with the method I proposed.

Then it's on you, this game isn't difficult at all and the AI got incredibly dumbed down, it used to cheat but not anymore, currently the ai struggles to even see you and can't land a shot properly, the only threats are corpos ( which can still be outsniped).

Ammo is only an issue early game IF you start with a max difficulty run ( Which is the point, it's supposed to be unfair). In any other "starts" you have plenty of ammo and a really good gun that can carry you to corpo tier enemies.

I hate to say this but at this point it sounds like a massive skill issue to me.

If you want some tips, you might want to take cover and not take fights you can't win, retreat and flank enemies, you don't even need to kill them at times, you can shoot near them and make them flee, use your radial abilities such as the scan to highlight enemies and see them from very far away and through bushes.

If you still struggle after thoses tips then just get Cheat engine and have your fun that way.
