That right there is a verifiable lie, a large majority of these projects are what you call "Patreon Scams" hoping people forget that they're backing the project as they're drawn in by a cheap prototype. Almost every single game in the "3D Game" category on f95 are either large japanese studio games, or patreon scams, while I'm not trying to argue one way or the other about this particular game, to pretend that patreon funded porn games aren't MOSTLY scams is an outright lie.

If you have to lie to make your point, then your point is fundamentally flawed.

There is nothing even remotely close in this game that justifies 15k a month and no updates lmao. You are sitting here name calling people for criticizing the dev literally making bank off practically not working lmao. Just because it uses unreal garbage doesn't justify almost never getting updates and barely any content. There are so many games with far more content, better art, and received updates far faster and more frequent yet make a fraction of the money this dev does. There is literally 0 excuse for this and it is a completely fair to criticize the dev for this.

I like this game too, but come on lol there is no way you unironically think this.

Can we just be real for a second? There's no gods damned way the dev's justified 14k/ month with how little content they've put out over the years they've had a Patreon. And they built off the (sill unfinished) previous game they were working on before whatever the hell happened that split the dev team, so it's not like they're starting from 0 as a first time dev.

We can talk about industry standards all we like, but they just don't apply here. Maybe it's not fair, but neither is accepting 14k a month for years, however low you may feel that is, and only having a couple of hours worth of content to show for it. Where they are in development is where I'd expect a new project to get to in a year if I'm being super generous.

It's 100% paycheck stealing from horny-hopefuls.

I can answer all of you at once. You can criticize or expect more development in this time period, there’s nothing wrong with that. But talking about people’s monthly earnings like “stealing” or “sit on ur ass all day and work 5 min” is not criticism, it’s nothing more than ignorant, insulting words.

And I can say it’s very normal to have this level of development in 3 years with only 4 people working on the project. Even if they worked full-time there’s nothing wrong with the progress so far, and it’s also normal that they don’t work full-time, because they need to earn money to live, or else take a big risk, quit their jobs and put everything into this investment, something non-NSFW games don’t even do these days. So if you know anything about game development, making open world environments, character dialogues and interactions, animations, physics, collisions, optimizations, effects, etc. you wouldn’t say any of this.

Also, there is no NSFW game better than this in this genre. There are even 8 year “in development” examples with nothing to play, just nonsense animations, tiny worlds, or no NPCs at all...

The second part of "Off the Hook" is bugged ? Took the package, went to the rock cliff, combed the entire area, nothing happens for 2 hours in game, quest failed ?

I learned to don't believe everything you see in Game Trailers or you'll be disappointed.

I suspect this is a part of the game that hasn't been in any of the builds yet. Perhaps it is outside the Prologue but not part of the "open world".

The timeline seems to suggest that on the 7th day, some catastrophic event will happen that will force Alice to leave the house and start begging in the neighborhood.

Because now the Prologue is quite well polished but the Open world is just a nightmare with a bunch of identical models and pieces of game mechanics.

During this time, several 3D games have been released in which player really need to survive and beg.

It's sad to see the development team wasting their time abd potential on mechanics that are very minor for the average player.

Because, honestly, it's a piece of shit that the character's intelligence depends on answers that don't even have a font a translator can detect... and on top of that, they give me a time limit to respond... I stand on the big rock right behind the tree, nothing happens.

yeah their trailer i am pretty sure is just hand picked assets they probably are not going to use for the final product and it was likely cobbled together for certain set pieces, i dont know the exact details but there is lot of smoke and mirrors going on to make it look like a playable game in the trailer.

How did you get to that amount and how do you know the number of devs on the team? Their Patreon is set to hide all info regarding funding, but judging by their Boosty and SS, they might very well be earning way more than that.

Anyway, wages vary from country to country. Ukrainian programmers for instance work for way less than say americans - 14k dollars have a much higher value to them if you take into account living costs and average salary.

Also bear in mind they're not being paid for a finished product. They're being paid to develop it. There's a difference and they will earn more money once they release it on steam or other platforms.

You can't expect them to be earning a shitload of money for developing something if not even teams on medium/big studios do - as a matter of fact, most programmers in a big studio team don't actually own the games they create and don't receive a share of the profits. That's obviously not the case here as they're most likely a small group of indie devs and each one of them actually own the game.

stardew valley was made by one guy who had next to zero experience coding or developing video games yet he taught himself and developed the game out of love and because he hated the way the game stardew valley was based on had shifted it's audience. it took him 4 years sure, but again this one ONE GUY with no experience doing it for the love and next to no income besides his own out of pocket, meaning no support or backers to rely on and he did everything himself, the music, the graphics the writing and script.

make sure to make occasional saves. I noticed that the cheat store is randomly disabled. I don't know if it's random or a certain thing I did disables it on the save game.

I tried like 5 times before I got it to work.(thank god I saved right there at the gazebo)

Here are my steps:

At gazebo at 16:00
Click box(quest updates)
Strip completely naked
Put on rope harness and blindfold(quest updates, telling you to keep the blindfold on)
Walk out of gazebo to the tree
go around back of the tree
Walk from the back of the tree to the point of the flat white rock
The cutscene didn't trigger until I was practically walking off the edge onto the grey rock below.

Hope this helps some people.
