There are already was some court cases with indi and ero game and ero content Developers.
Causes of cases are different but many Developers decided it is not worth to risk.
Some Developers are just not get enough profit out of their projects, some do not have good idea how to work and how to profit from it.
There are less and less more cases of sucessful projects. Also this case with all platforms like itch, and other on which Developers post their game and not only game projects. Some themes for content are right now banned and this Developers can not continue their projects until they remove this banned content from their projects(it takes time and their redone projects should be checked after their rework by this paltforms).

Don't believe there is any specific reason besides like a lot of developers now-a-days can grow a fan base for a bit, then realize they don't have to do anything (or release updates) and bring in tons of cash. He made posts about the update coming blah blah, then started posting "how-to" videos, then other random posts, then after a while, he just stopped posting on Patreon all together.

I think dev got burned out because of the deadlines, he was bitching alot before the ghosting.
That's possible and it happens. What's shit about the dev is that he ghosted for 2 years than his account changed name and started another game. And when called out he abandoned it and disappeared again.

Hello. I saw your post about the game Demon boy. I played it and the game ended with Nicole showing her underwear at her brother's house. But is there really a chapter 5? I can't find any information anywhere. But I saw pictures from the game, where the characters are on the beach, at Christmas, a bunch of different sex scenes
dev is gone ! this game will never be back unless some dev make rework of this game in new level :v
but I really wish dev to come and continue this game :9
