you can find the ninja a second time in one of the bushes at south forest, if you have to search her, search the bushes that are on the main path, once you find her, you have to find her another time, and so the hunt continue.
Edit; nevermind, found her a third time, you have to go to the forest North and interact with this spot, and she disappeared again, Great.
FOUND HER!!! she is in a rock oìin the mountain path (north of the main city) near the mine entrance

She ran away again, that famous saying that goes "curiosity killed the cat" in this case is not a figurative saying, this game will receive a gore tag because of this npc.

Anyone know where to spend souls? Item description implies there's some sort of shop you can use them in.

In the haunted mansion, go north from the forest camp there is brown floor and you have to fight the trees, in there a ghost appears that let you exchange souls for items

Did you need to bring a specific character there? I've been through that mansion multiple times and haven't seen a ghost unless I'm overlooking something.

Made a bit of a guide / walkthrough for Demonherd, its not entirely complete but should contain info for most quests / item locations aside from the very lategame stuff. Decided I'd make it after missing the rock-smashing ability for 8 hours and getting annoyed at the lack of a quest log/hints.

Overall the game has very little corruption/body theft like I initially expected, more of an exhibitionism/harem style with some enjoyable characters. Runs to roughly 15-30 hours in length, although at least a third of that is random encounter/levelling/gold grind that's skippable with some light save editing.

The creator is working on sequel/follow-up games including one with combat similar to darkest dungeon, worth supporting if you enjoy this one.

Thanks for the guide! Based on the guide details and dev notes, the game really feels passionate/loved by the devs.

I tried the game for 45 minutes but I don't really have anything constructive to say due to irreconcilable differences (I've been burnt out on turn-based battles/stat grinding for over ten years now). The only thing I want to overtly complain about is how insufferable Baal's dialogues have been. I've seen this style around where the "the possessing monster tries to insert witty comments EVERY OTHER dialogue box but ONLY THE PROTAGONIST can properly respond" so I don't know if it's a staple of having a possessing monster trope (If it is a staple, then this isn't a warranted complaint. Guess I'm just outside the audience demographic). It's been rough because I can't even properly skip Baal's dialogues without skipping Gloria's and other character's conversations.

I do like that the [named] male characters have unique portraits (only encountered three so far tho).

In regards to the exhibitionism, are there portrait differences if you equip Gloria with other clothing equipment? Is there a way to remove Baal's "forced nakedness". I might try to power through if both answers are yes, but otherwise I guess I have to accept that I'm outside the targeted audience.

There are some gear that can change the character portrait but it's really odd which ones do and don't an example there's a standing sprite for the "Mage Armor" but not the "Mage Dress" but overall it seems like it's split by armor category Heavy armor that you can equip later on in game having their own portrait. Regardless though, all other characters act as if you're still only in the poncho. The forced nakedness can be removed by sleeping (and IIRC by walking enough steps) which makes me assume it operates like a hidden debuff. Ved will give you a new poncho if you talk to him if Baal throws yours away when nakedness is forced.

For the goblin, she gets another questline sometime later in the game (I noticed it when I unlocked the demon world quest for the sword). When you try to invite her into the party, she'll refuse saying she's too busy playing yugioh prompting you to discuss things with Ved. Finishing the thing gives you a new accessory that feels like it should have something extra with it based on the lore in the demon realm.

Other than that, there seems to be a post game dungeon after beating the dragon. Not sure how I proced it, either turning in the dragon kill to the guild or maybe beating the arena champion but a random NPC showed up in east forest camp and talking to them gives you a lamp you can enter from talking to them in town. No clue what the reward is for clearing the dungeon though but you need to finish 15 levels and it operates kinda like a board game.

Also does the locked door in the demon realm have a key or is it just there as a tease?

Most characters have a few outfit states, naked / light armor / medium armor / heavy armor.
For Gloria, all light armor looks like her poncho.

You can put Baal in clothing, he'll just be dramatic about it and occasionally take it off for events and things. Usually when such an event triggers, you cant change the related clothing/item slot for a certain duration, then it'll unlock (I think with a small notification) I think sleeping can fast-forward that.

When it comes to grinding, the guide has a bit about how to save edit - its quite possible to take 10 mins to do a once-off edit that guarantees you win all fights & gives a certain companion infinite mana/AP to keep stealth up forever, disabling the random encounters. That should help with just focusing on the content itself, and Baal gets less disruptive later on, depending on the route you take.

That said, the game's humor does lean a lot on meme references and back and forth joke bits. The former killed my immersion a bit at more serious times.

I have seen mention of an endgame roguelike challenge mode, but have not explored that content myself. Supposedly a secret superboss as well.

Since the companions seem to get a new quest after each boss, they might all have a 4th one if the goblin does? Something to look at if I do another run-through.

I dont know anything about a demon realm locked door, although I dont remember one either. There's the sword, a late part of Rin's quest, and a study where Baal translates notes for you to give lore. The thing with Rin might be the missing bit, if you've not had her abducted while roaming the demon palace? She gets yoinked to a room for a scene (in renegade path at least), that might be the off-limits one.

Is it possible to play it as lesbian only and awoid all dicks ?
If you are fine with having Baal in control most of the time, I think it's doable... but I'm not so sure. While you are Gloria, you have choices if avoiding or indulging in NSFW activities, but Baal is usually very horny and will definitely initiate any sex on its own.

With the cast being all women, you are not seeing many dicks by default tho.
