Not wrong sadly we have seen that a lot from so many artist, and i hope she'll be okay and maybe she will find that spark, but yeah that can happen a lot big time to NSFW artist.

Super sad. Derpixon was one of the more talented 2D artists. Zone has all but disappeared and I thought Derpi filled in the shoes nicely.

So many OG creators have quit (especially in the Overwatch scene) because the NSFW space is such a difficult one to be in. It's a lucrative business that's more competitive than the Olympics and it'll drain your soul (at the result of draining your followers). Especially when shit like GB being doxxed happened, sometimes it's really difficult to justify taking this as a job.

According to Patreon, the most popular tier for Derp's subs is the 5$ tier. In order for that to be accurate, the bare minimum of people subscribed to that would have to be 35% of his 8644 subs. If you multiply that by 5 and do the math, that's 15,125 USD a month.
If you assume the rest of the subs are 1 dollar, that totals out to 20,744 USD a month. He obviously has a few 10 dollar subs. But still, even if you do a 5% patreon fee and break it down the middle on the transaction fees for 5 and 1 dollar subs at 4%, that's still 18,918 a month. Or 227,016 USD a year. Even if you take a third out for taxes throughout the entire year, it still leaves her with 157,016 USD a year.
Or 13k a month. 3,250 a week.
Crazy to walk away from that. Not that I think she shouldn't. It's just insane the money rolling around.

One bad thing about f95 are the people who keep criticizing all animators' update schedules without regard to their situation. If one burns out, they move on to badmouth others. I hope that folks begin to understand that not all animators are trying to milk their patrons. You should really respect the ones who do it mostly out of love and horniness.
