Man, i just dont know about the hive choice... For immediate results taking the hive and losing the girl would be the best option. An army for corpses and prisoners AND you can fuck the queen every once in a while. You still can eradicate them later on too if you would need to. -> Technically speaking... dont know if it would fit in the game.

On the other hand, Mantis is cute af (another harem member) AND it feels like she could be a new hive mother since shes the only one in the hive so far, which isnt a mutated blob and it seems that shes the right hand of mother. I think she would have been the replacement for mother and thats another reason why shes so pissed about leaving her.

You lose The Hive as an ally though and you won't save Keen, but you keep Mantis' individuality, and have her as an ally instead.

And you don't have to trade the statue. Just kill the guys. Save Ivy and keep the statue for the Queen. Don't worry, as far as I know (and from what I experienced), it doesn't have any affect on the rest of the Decayed. You'll just have a different way of obtaining Fairy (get her from a cage from the Dwarf girl instead).

That looks like my wife's (Zahra) ass but I could be wrong here. Being involved in polyamorous relationships for so long, it is not easy to keep track :p

I got around to this one again and just did the scene after the hive. I am wondering if Fangs is always going to be part of the mutant scenes? She's fine and all but I was really hoping for a solo scene with Mantis. If she is going to strong arm herself into every action with them I'll likely just avoid the mutant scenes altogether. Also I think I'm seeing a pattern. The two threesome scenes that I've come across so far have not been animated, basically just a montage of stills and text. I personally think it makes them much less enjoyable.

I also think the side quests could really do with some attention. It seems they have been stagnant for what feels like forever. Aside from the Shani content, that I haven't tried yet, the game is in the same state as it was the last time I played it. Also, if the player doesn't choose to view scenes from her POV is the update even smaller, or is it a none optional part now?

i agree thats probably the one thing in this i havnt liked so far i like mantis so i wanted to go the route to get her but i really am not a fan of fang and would rather avoid her altogether

I feel the same. The animations added to this one are pretty lack luster as well. The lewd ones anyway. I doesn't make any sense to me, they rendered fully animated environment videos so they know how to animate with Daz but the "adult" animations never seem to get any better. If anything they've gotten worse. It's definitely the weakest part of this project.

Z is learning animation as he develops the game. Posing 3 characters to animate instead of 2 is exponentially more complicated, not to mention demanding on the hardware. There are limitations to what's possible depending on the equipment and time limits.
Could he create a 3 person animation? Possibly, with a few weeks of time to do the work and learn what he might need to.. time that would be allocated exclusively to that, at the expense of the rest of the update.
Z is the main Dev and does at least 95% of the visual work on his own.

Shani's story arc is crucial to the development of the overall plot. If you've chosen not to see her scenes that's on you. It's pretty obvious that updates that include her current mission will seem smaller if you don't play her content.

I'm not clear on what you mean by side quests being stagnant.
There's been plenty of content in the last few updates, and if you read the Dev update, you must have seen that there's more coming.
