I feel like Hot Sands saw Desert Stalker, tried doing something similar but couldn't keep up with the quality.WHAT?! Nah, nah, nah. This can't be happening. Sandy hot Antarctica or whatever should be reminding you of this game. Not the other way around, sir.
That's like saying, "Wow these McNuggets remind me of the frozen crap that's been sitting in my freezer for 2 years!"
(I'm just messing around, btw. I realize you probably played that game before playing this one. It's just the difference in quality is so night and day that that game just feels like a poorly-executed knock off of Desert Stalker. Of course, I have my bias since I played this one first.)
Yes, but there's no grinding and few roadblocks. It plays more like a standard VN but you get some control over which quest/storyline to advance nextThis game open world? I don't like that most time.
Yea. Not even in terms of just the renders. The first maybe 30 minutes feels like an exposition dump when I'm just sitting there thinking, "Give me a reason to care, first."I feel like Hot Sands saw Desert Stalker, tried doing something similar but couldn't keep up with the quality.
there is definitely content there for people looking for the post-apocalyptic giga-chad vibe but id rather play a new save of Desert Stalker than play the other game again
It is it's own walkthrough. It's a quest style VN and it tells you what you need to do to move on and gives indicators of where the essential tasks need to be done. There's a tutorial at the beginning - not very difficult.Hey guys, I downloaded the game and about to play it but before that do I need a walkthrough to play it properly or not?
Because I usually play VN games.
And they were all deceived... as this VN is based in Arrakis... The Spice will save this world..Now, for the section "stupid nerd doubts a dude can have": What is it supposed to be the weather in post apocalyptic Egypt like?
I mean, never been in Egypt myself but as far as i know weather is hot and dry, which is a lot better and more comfortable then hot and dump, so being close to naked should feel good. Yet i'm quite positive that venturing in the desert with your skin exposed is more on the suicidal territory.
So i was considering, MC is all the time chest naked, with a cape which is more of decorative most of the time but i believe it comes quite in hand when wind blows sand, and he has his bald head out all the time.
Now, sorry to disappoint Danny Trejo, but in real life i'm as bald as fuck myself and i promise direct sun on a bald head is an issue. Summertime is baseball cap time for me.
My 2 cents on that is that the weather in the game is still summer type of hot. Everyone wear very light and revealing clothes and they seem to be comfortable all the time, that works well with the hot dry Egypt, yet, no one seems to be concerned by Sun light in the slightest. So, maybe the sky is cloudy all the time? More of dust clouds than rain clouds? In opposition to the obviously thunderous clouds of the zones?
Looks like Gandalf is jerking off.And they were all deceived... as this VN is based in Arrakis... The Spice will save this world..
Arrakis (/əˈrɑːkɪs/)—informally known as Dune and later called Rakis—is a desert planet featured in the Dune series of novels by Frank Herbert.

I brought up a similar point in the Hot Sand of Antarctica thread LMAO. (That one has an even looser take on environmental factors, since, in a polar setting, the sunlight patterns etc. would be vastly different from what’s portrayed in the game.)Now, for the section "stupid nerd doubts a dude can have": What is it supposed to be the weather in post apocalyptic Egypt like?

Very easy:This game needs to have more frequent updates, it's just too damn good!
Good points, but interestingly, it seems that in ancient Egypt, actually people didn't wear a lot of clothing. Now, for the section "stupid nerd doubts a dude can have": What is it supposed to be the weather in post apocalyptic Egypt like?

Unfortunately, that is the truth.Very easy:
Good quality takes time!
Top quality needs even more time!!!
So practice patience...
Now, that's an hell of an argument, i didn't think about itGood points, but interestingly, it seems that in ancient Egypt, actually people didn't wear a lot of clothing.
