This explanation would be good if characters interact differently depending on the player's choices. (I understand this was a lot more work for the dev) but the way it was done just seems like a weak excuse to please both sides

You´re probably not wrong. I think it´s a way to justify the existence of sharing in the game, for those who are into it or don´t mind it, but also have it be optional for those who don´t like that stuff.

Well true. But I like the approach in this VN. Truth be told, I wouldn't call myself an "incest fan" but almost all AVNs have incest these days, so I'm used to it. I can go with or without incest though so long as the girls are hot.

Still... other vns generally don't pull off the father/daughter incest without it getting creepy as fuck. In this though, there's a social context where it's not a taboo in this world... Not many other VNs do it that way. That, paired with the fact that the daughters are both hot as fuck so my monkey brain is fully engaged .
