Excellent update. Really great balance of content. A lot of popular games struggle with the episodic nature of their releases hitting all the satisfaction angles. I really enjoyed the effort that went into the gloom of the Zone and the cinematics. The writing shows a great confidence and belief in the established world and meta, and when an author has such obvious passion it passes onto the viewer. The cutscenes are well appreciated.
The reunion and family scenes that come later assuage the tense first act of Shani's adventures and the update ends with a great combo of a repeat of all that we know and love from the series but with a new raising of the stakes to add fuel to the fire.
