I couldn't immediately recall based on the angle in the screenshot, but from a frontal image and with the same type of clothing (i.e., bra and dress), it is definitely the reverend mother.....

Yeah, probably none that I am aware of ......I mean Zahra's are pretty big but not as big as the reverend mother's.....

But then again, (lore-wise) reverend mother's purpose is to essentially serve as a motherly concubine/baby-making machine of sorts as part of her high-ranking role in the temple so I guess it's sorta natural/expected that she has that kind of XXL mommy milk tits physique...

I'm sure she knows more than she is letting on, that's for sure... I mean, it is possible that the higher-ups in the religious sect of Zeta probably indoctrinated any of the new reverend mothers who were taking up that post. Because if I remember correctly, there may have been previous reverend mother's prior to the one we get introduced to in-game

I think ZetanDS is planning to add some paths in the game where you can "soft" the queen and convince her in a peaceful way, by getting alliances or something like that. And when I mean "soft", I mean Zaton will probably fuck her and even turn into her King consort in the future. Also, there is a possibility another girl could become the new queen, like Shani, for example.

Yeah, I can definitely see that happening. I mean, we see instances in the game where the queen starts taking Shani under her wing and getting all chummy with her, plus the whole scene of the queen frying the prisoner alive with the flamethrower and calmly walking Shani through that process of exercising extreme retribution as a leader makes me think that Shani could start adopting those attributes if she ever ends up taking the throne....

If this game story is going anywhere (so far, sorry, but it isn't, where are more in the prologue than in the first act) i presume the whole optional alligiance with mutants and raiders is supposed to go toward a more multicultural zetan society in order to be better fit for survival. Inbreed and no technology are not much for the long game...

While rejecting alligiances probably implies a more despotic and purist society.

Could be, but loyality to Zarah is a big point of Zaton characterization. I think this might be a far shot or a plain evel route.

I don't see why, even assuming the zetan royality is not dinastic. I think the story is more about making the current queen a more self confident and just ruler (or eventually a puppet tyrant in a dark path). Having Shani crowned... i presume there are better claims to the throne in any case, even if, let's say, for some reason the queen dies or she is deemed unfit for the role. Shani is just a stalker.

The point is if the story want's to make actual sense or just be a payoff festival where the hero gets everything.

Kinda like the people who complained that at the end of Game of Thrones (i know, sad example) Jon Snow didn't become Kind of Westeros.

But if you want the story to make sense he is the very last person fit for the role. Not that he wouldn't be a great king but:

He betrayd the Nightwatch and his vows several time
He deserted (twice)
He crowned himself King in the North, betraing the Seven Kingdoms crown.
He bent the knee to Daenerys betraying his bannersmen who suppored his crowning
He marched south with a foreign invanding force
He supported a mad queen in slaughtering civil population
He betrayed his queen and commited regicide

And if that is not enough... He is a Targaryen, so he might well turn to be another mad king.

So, who in his sane mind in the Seven Kingdom would support the crowning of King Jon?

Is 0-16c still using .pngs or did they revert to more sensible jpg or webp? I only tried 0-16b and it has png
There is no perceptible improvement to using png files over jpg or webp in Renpy unless you are using them in some manner of screen overlay capacity. But just using them as your standard bgs is head scratcher. An unjustified increase in file size imo.

They are .webp despite the extension (which is not important, and is still .png for convenience reasons). The actual raw game size with pngs is closer to 12gb, the releases are already converted to webp and compressed.

Yeah, a uniform makes sense that's for sure. Although, if we were able to see the uniforms of any of the previous reverend/temple mothers (i.e., perhaps in a flashback that Zetan has in-game or from any other character) and if they match what the current one is wearing that would confirm that hypothesis if anything.

I don't know if we have seen any other so far but it might be.

Edit: I was thinking about the other couple in the first scene with Nadia, but nop. The girl is just a slave albeith well pregnant.
