Was about to ask why you couldn't use Asha anymore during the intro but turns out you have to enable Forceplay in the options menu now. Sharing is another new option there as well. (Correction: Sharing was always there as an option but now moved to the options menu rather than "edit details" which is now called "edit relationships" - a menu that still contains options for both gore and sharing but not for forceplay)

I'm hesitating if I should play this update or not. My last update was 0.14c and I was waiting for this one to play again but it seems like this was mostly a tech update.
Can someone tells me how long it generally takes for new updates to get published?

Well , I'm just going to wait for the official (free) release to the public and the compressed version of it. I guess there is no point downloading this beta mess right now.
Honestly, I'm not sure how to answer this. Yes, you will likely find new content from last time and it will (probably) be enjoyable. No, you should wait a week or two for the next update with bug fixes and other things (possible extra content) before playing.
The current version is a BETA and was just for final tests before the actual release. Personally, I would say wait for the new steam version to be released and play that. I HAVE played the current version, and it was enjoyable, but honestly wish I had waited for the FULL version that is supposed to come out soon (I'll grab that and play as well).

There is a spectrum of submission, I by no means want my MC to be some pathetic doormat. What I pictured was MC being loyal to Queen and offering pleasantries such as kneeling, kissing hand, giving massage etc. and her appreciating it by becoming significantly nicer to MC and treating him like a cute puppy for lack of better words. And during all this I wished Queen would stay regal and upstanding and a bit stern, but never out of the way mean or wanting to humiliate MC. I am not saying that it should be in the game and I'm fine with whatever is given, it's just a vision I hoped to see I guess.
And I like the badassery and harem building in this game as much as the next guy too, in fact, this is one of the very rare harem games I actually enjoy because it is done in a great setting and executed so well. Usually "horse cock MC lust controls all women in the universe to flock to his knees" does not appeal to me.

Well, there still will be the version on Patreon/SS, but more than likely all 3 launch the same day as Steam which is the 13th.
There will probably be another update before then as there are usually a couple of updates before the public (final version) release. But don't think there will be a public release now since the game is on Steam.
The argument that "it's beta!" can only reasonably be applied to the NEW content, not the PREVIOUS content. When you rewrite a program, the purpose is to improve on previous code while keeping the same functionality. This update completely broke Ain's story progression, it's obvious that the developer didn't even do 1 play test before releasing this which should be the minimum requirement for a BETA.

Ah no wonder, seems like the entire game was revised from the ground up hence the starting from a new save. Makes sense to update everything but you can still play the game from a save in 0.16. I think any save before that won't load at all? Might have some issues too I guess. Besides that, the filters fore gore and depraved stuff are actually turned off at default now so you guys might wanna have to turn it on if you decide to start from the beginning.
Anyway, is there any new content in this update or is this just one of those rework updates?
