That why it confusing. The game files are still clearly in the game but Paz said it was removed because of Patreon. And I don't know the exact date of the recent massive ban wave that happened there before or after v0.16. But if the files are still there they could just easily bring it back when the game is complete and no longer on Patreon.

Firstly it dramatically changes the tone of the scene.

- is on major platforms (patreon/steam) which allows the developers to create way more of the stuff I 98% like

than
- a game I like 100%, but
- has a far smaller reach, success, and thus resources for development.

The amount of crying over 5 renders in the last few pages is kinda ridiculous. Yes, developers have to modify their vision sometimes. It's the world we live in. This game is still one of the best around despite this horrific censorship.

This is exactly what I mean, some scenes it just didn't trigger to somebody doesn't mean it didn't trigger to others and the game is censored. Because the files are still literally there.
Again this could just all be bugs in the new code that we wouldn't know and need to be fixed overtime.

Got an annouced rework, with better renders and the newer Ain Model, Yes, you got a point in all the reworked scenes the camara angle was shifted.

I think the bigger mystery is why a handful of people are losing their shit over it and derailing the thread into this dumb argument over that one blowjob scene. The tone of the scene really didn't change because Zaton still literally has Ain's mother sucking him off while she watches. That specific change happened because it was flagged by Patreon due to the angles of renders making Ain look younger than she is. Instead of fighting them over it, the devs opted to make a very minor, reasonable change instead of risking consequences from Patreon or Steam.

Is it censorship? Yeah. Very minor censorship. Not the first time it's happened in Desert Stalker, even with Ain. Was the scene so important that it worth risking getting kicked off of lucrative platforms over? Fuck no it wasn't.
