This is an excellent point. It's all well and good trying to dictate how someone else's idea should match your own needs.
But far more fruitful and rewarding to invest years in learning the necessary software and skills to create your own thing.

Damn... old saves don't work? I really didn't want to start a new game...
With DS, there is enough early reworked/new content where I'm enjoying my restart.
It is a 'richer' world than it was a few revs ago, given the variations on content you can enjoy around the house, for example.
If this was just a total loss of saves due to a major Renpy update, I'd agree.

For Mac you'll want to use Terminal instead. Same concept as Command prompt. Just followed these steps and got the game running myself.

Just make sure to drink from Zahra's bountiful breast milk. That's the true oasis in the desert for sure. Who needs water when you can have her milk, am I right?
My question is why were some scenes apparently removed entirely? I get why you might have to alter a few scenes from angles or whatever, but I can think of 2 scenes that I've not encountered on this new playthrough (Specifically with Ain), that seem to have just been removed entirely? Sorry if you've answered this already, but why the one where you call Ain over near the beginning of the game, when you are saying hello to Zhara? When she's kneeling and you could call Ain over for a hug? And then a sleeping scene with Ain later on? Given all of the other scenes are still intact with her, that are even kinkier, often involving the same characters, I'm puzzled why those 2 were removed?I think this whole thing is blown out of proportions
Anyhow, I hope my answer satisfies you because that's all I can provide.
With the somewhat recent Patreon review (and the then-upcoming Steam review) some time ago, that particular scene with the render angles it had could be perceived as risky -for the wrong reasons imho- as it was too early in the game, before we've had a chance to establish characters or settings.
We were a bit uncomfortable about risking our presence on those platforms (and, frankly, the existence of the game) with this small part, so after much discussion we removed it.
Could it make an appearance again in the future? It's likely, but not in the exact form it was.
That's all there is to it. No grand conspiracy or something.
As for the dynamics, I agree it showed them nicely but we do have plenty of other scenes showing it, so the overall feeling is not lost imho.
I personally wasn't deflecting or anything, simply answered to a person that pretty much said "I fear they will slowly remove Ain from the game" that is this not the case.
See above, no excuse or anything, just a fact that adding more renders of Ain is pretty much evidence that we don't plan to remove her or whatever.
And in any case, if we wanted or were forced to remove her entirely, we certainly wouldn't do it 2 renders at a time. That would take ages.
To help fly under the patreon radar is the short answer for the first one. For the second, the only sleep events you can do with her is fuggin' her while she's sleeping or waking her up first. Are you talking about the Ain Massage event? If so, I think that got temporarily "commented out"/deactivated (people have said that it is still in the game files) because it's starting to show it's age and the devs didn't want something so raw for the steam release but couldn't find the time to work on it without causing more delays.

I'm playing this on Steam at the moment and I keep running into an issue where regardless of how many days I skip no quests come up, all of them say to either wait or to progress other quests. Some big brained fellow here might be able to figure out what the issue is I hope.
