I think so. At first I thought she was the chick (with two intact arms) that interviews you at the beginning of the game, but on second glance the two don't look quite the same, aside from a mask. Was Zion's arm always missing.....
Edit: Sorry, mouse issue, posted before I type the reply (below).she was the chick (with two intact arms) that interviews you at the beginning of the gam
Skipping days doesn't work for my issue. It happened to me as well. I saw the quest icon on the map, but then i went to the mutants quest and after that it disappeared. I simply skipped to the next day and it popped up again.
He is hot. Now i feel better simping for him.Edit: Sorry, mouse issue, posted before I type the reply (below).
For me, the first person the player see and interviews him/her is ZetanDS, the developer himself (the in-game representation of himself).
Huh. I didn't even notice she was missing an arm last update, guess I was too distracted by the human battering ram to notice itI think so. I like that they added an amputee with no prosthetics. The usual route is to give them a sci-fi robo arm or something, but here it fits better with the setting and with the gruesome nature of the raiders. Hope we get to find out how Zion lost it. Probably explains why she is so angry all of the time. She really needs some dick and a desert ale to calm down.
Probably someone chop off her arm between the updates and I wonder who did thatHuh. I didn't even notice she was missing an arm last update, guess I was too distracted by the human battering ram to notice it
You know what, I actually thought she got her arm chopped off when they were taking over or somethingProbably someone chop off her arm between the updates and I wonder who did that? Sorry, just kidding
.
You just have to load a save before the 'outpost' quest and replay the quest to find out (I don't remember the exact quest name). This is where I believe a 'read only' Replay Quest* (for completed) and Restart Quest (for ongoing) features would come in handy, but it is just too much work and probably not worth it (since there is already save file for that).
*Replay Quest works in a similar fashion as Replay Scene in the Gallery (but extended). Let's the player replay quests/missions without changing his/her game state.
I fully identifiedI don't have any insecurities that I have to get past. I make no judgements on those who activate the content. I just don't fancy sharing my toys. I am selfish, though more than happy to take (temporarily borrow!) another person's toys. I am terribly hypocritical. My in-game MC is a violent, brutish, arrogant, grapey motherfucker, but he still believes in cherishing his marriage and his lovely wife above all others....
....except when he is out on patrol, or in town, or at a friends house, or just generally whenever he is within a 50 metre radius of an attractive female. Fortunately (or unfortunately), every female in this game is attractive.
I am just happy that the devs give us options. You can tell it is a good game when two players like us, with diametrically opposed opinions on the matter, can equally enjoy the experience.
Sorry you're 1 in a 10000 then. The game loads for you and more or less works perfectly except for this quest? Guessing trollSkipping days doesn't work for my issue.
I played enough VNs to understand that but I am simply pointing out that as of right now the content that exist is heavily in favor of saving the elf. Since there appears to be no consequence to saving her. At first the game makes it seems like you miss getting a reward from the queen but then you get a new slave anyways. Meanwhile if you don't save the elf you simply just miss a bunch of content. As far as I can tell right now there is no reason not to save the elf unless I missed a scene or two that gets unlocked by not saving her.storytelling allows you to choose characters you'd like to interact with and content you'd want to see. So the game has parts that you can miss, or content blocked due to choices you've made, eventually influencing whole parts of game or maybe endings
all for game replayability and player's choice
whats the difference with this beta and Official it is okay to play beta now or i wait the official release??
I don't know the exact definition that the Desert Stalker team uses but it not that different from the ones I listed above. Also, I am not aware of any Alpha release, so most likely DS team lumps Alpha and Beta release together into Beta (and Alpha is just basically ZetanDS playtesting as he develops the game) to simplify the release cycle.A few definitions:
Beta software that has not yet been released but has received an alpha test and still has more bugs than a regular release.
Beta software refers to computer software that is undergoing testing and has not yet been officially released. The beta phase follows the alpha phase, but precedes the final version. Some beta software is only made available to a select number of users, while other beta programs are released to the general public.
Beta refers to the phase in software development between the alpha phase and the release candidate phase. The software is generally considered "complete" by the developer but still not ready for general use due to a lack of testing "in the wild."

Mmm... i don't have this stuff... i've been as nice as humanly possible with Ivy/Yuna, still no icon. I'm generally playing a do-godder path. I took mantis back.Edit:
I went back on a previous save and left Mantis at the Hive and I still got the Ivy quest. The only thing I can think of at this point is you must have somehow messed up on your conversations with Ivy. Try redoing your choices with Ivy and be as patient/understanding as possible and see if that fixes it.
well this got me now worried, i really hope that those of us that have killed the mutants at start wont have to replay the thing from start.Mmm... i don't have this stuff... i've been as nice as humanly possible with Ivy/Yuna, still no icon. EDIT: Does it lead to the cave scene with Ivy? I've been there. But i don't remember how.
EDIT 2: Ok, i had that icon, it just didn't stick with my mind. If it helps my key-choices with Ivy should have been those:
- I killed the decayed and saved her
- I stopped the fatso from killing the girl slave when ivy wanted to meet MC in Zeta.
- I at the mutants bunker dormitory i didn't press ivy, i joined hands with her then i banged Fang.
- I took mantis away from the hive (but this doesn't seem to be important)
- I was cool when speaking with Ivy at home during the night visit.
