By that logic, this game is not appealing for NTR fans at all either. And, looking at it objectively, I strongly doubt it is appealing to them, really.

But the sexual liberation, including the acceptance of incest, on the other hand, is an integral part of the world building.
Without it, this would be a very different game.

I'll add, as someone who does like NTR games, I do like what content we get here. Each scene is crafted so well that it's usually incredibly sexy no matter what your preferences are.

Regardless, and I think more importantly, I don't consider Desert Stalker just a porn game. This is a story about survival, the various factions and how they might all come together (or not), and what really draws me in is how it is influenced by Fallout and Mad Max. This has world building similar to Fallout, which I absolutely love. The last update where Z could read Ivy's log entries on the computer, each telling a pretty neat story...I loved that. I would love more story-telling like that.

Easily one of my favorite games where I look forward to each release, no matter what kinks are explored in that particular release.

Because the people who love to scream how ntr is the worst thing ever expect everything to cater to them. They are your typical incels that like to harass devs and brigade threads if a game has ntr or plans to have any. So far the sharing scenes in this game (as far as I have played) I have really liked. He has the right conditions. Feel the like the dev hits the nail on the head. It proves harem and sharing can work. That one when the MC can offer his daughter for a friendly guesture of reward/friendship? , but when he started getting carried away, she really told him off. Reminded him shes not his bitch, but a gesture from the alpha ^_~.

No, that wouldn't fit the game.

The MC shares (if the player choses so!) from a position of power, not from a position of weakness like in NTR.

For example, Ain clearly doesn't want to get shared, but does so because her father orders her.

It seems as if Zaton doesn't get anything sexual out of it either. But, the game lore does imply that alliances are important and friendship between more or less equal men can be cemented by sharing women. It's a political thing, not a sexual one.

Because the solution is very simple, just turn it off and canonically it never happens. But for snowflaks just avoid it completely. Dev already has a vision in mind and he ain't gonna change anything just because a couple of feeloaders here are whining about it. It's completely optional and doesn't even force you to do it.

but damn I hope we'll be making progress with Pepper and Yuna soon. Dev has significantly improved with designs when he introduced them. Even Kitty is cute asf.

It's the first time I'm going to play this game and I find this discussion. I hate sharing or the ntr but it's completely optional and doesn't happen in the story canonically if you choose to (unlike some shitty games where you don't see it but the story takes it as happening lol). The only fear with this kind of game is that suddenly the dev decides that it's not optional and say something like: It was already in the game, don't complain. I remember that something like this has already happened in other games and it would be a kick to the balls of those who want it to be completely optional xD. It's always a risk in these types of games haha.

I wouldn't worry about that. One of the key features of the game is precisely that it does give you options. The devs are not going to change that and arbitrarily do a 180. Like you, I also do not like sharing, but I have no worry about being forced to see it, just like I am not worried about them forcing watersports, gore, etc. Imho, this is the top game on F95 and these devs know it is best to capture both audiences instead of just one. If you haven't tried DS yet, then I highly recommend it.

As someone who isn't into all the sharing / raping / NTR tropes, having it optional is good enough for me, as i much prefer playing a good game skipping optional scenes than skipping it for a minor reason. Knowing it is hidden in the game will never be a big enough reason not to play and i even agree that some specific uses of those themes are some times justified. (Well not rape, but by some more easily offended peoples standards. For exemple, i will perfectly accept non exclusivity with prostitutes, side girls, etc) Having those scenes skippable are indeed a big bonus, but if not, that's what skip unseen text tab key is for.

The only thing i would change to make it better, for me, would be to be able to pick ALL the toggle options at the start of the game intro, where they ask you about gore. Choosing yes or no DOES impact on your own interpretation of the story as when the choice pop on your screen just before a scene, you KNOW those precise characters will be shared even though you will not see it. Having the choice at the game's start would do a better job obfuscating that aspect by keeping it "secret" which characters even have the option to participate.

All i wanted to say is, while the scene doesn't play or happens in your game, you still are aware via the yes/no toggle that the scene you are gonna get next has the possibility of having some/all characters non MC to be in a shared scene for those who chose yes. While you do not have it in your game, it still implies said characters (ain, emilia, the wife, the prisoners' lady and the raider girl) you now know are the girls getting shared, thus removing from the full non-sharing immersion. That is why i suggested for the non sharing enjoyers it would be better, imo, to have the non sharing choice at the start instead of the scene itself as to keep the identity of the shared girls hidden from those like me. I didn't care so much about knowing which girls "can" be shared if you so choose as to go full apeshit on the dev, i'm not that extreme, but would have found it more tasteful personally to just not know in my game.

I feel like we are getting into schrodinger's cat territory with this. We aren't in the multiverse theory whereby in some alternate reality an action is being taken right now by alternate Antherak that is opposite to what you are now doing (he isn't wanking to furry porn). No, it is just a visual novel with branches, that's all. If you choose to take an action or path then a result happens, if you choose not to take an action or path then that potential result does not happen and never did.

In life you are faced with this everyday. Just because an undesirable result to a choice exists doesn't mean you have to worry about it. Right now, you have all kinds of choices; you could choose to fart on a stranger, or send a pic of yourself teabagging a dead polar bear to Greta, or maybe send a thoughtful monetary gift to your pal Kellermann, but if you don't act on any of it then don't trouble yourself about what isn't even happening in your universe or playthrough.
