Nevermind... I downloaded a fresh UN-modded copy and it works. So apparently the multi-mod is preventing me from moving beyond part 1.

Hey this game looks interesting, but I have a question. Is the harem in this game open and honest? As in, as of the current update, the girls in this game at least knows that they are all with the same guy and they take time to discuss their relationship, and they accept the fact that they are in a harem. Since I'm just really not into a game that has the Mc being with multiple women and him hiding his relationships and the girls not knowing each other for half of the game.

Again depending on the LI and their screen time. Generally there is well-crafted romantic development which is diverse. It goes from wooing the first wife up to go and help another LI overcome her androphobic streak.
You also do have a chick who is shy and has a crush on you and after saving her you can develop something more serious with her.
So basically you have a diverse cast and you do see the MC go for the LIs in different ways (romantically).

Agree with the HS1 part. I just browsed some games that have been developed for more than 6 years with HS1 renders and they look so outdated and visually boring (not to say this game is ugly at all, IMO this is one of the most beautiful games made with HS1). I do disagree with your take on Eternum tho. The renders are HS2 sure, but Caribdis customizes the hell out of them to make his game probably the most beautiful HS AVN ever, also his past success of OIAL does contribute to the popularity of Eternum bc we know this guy never misses.

Just reached episode 3 and i'll leave it at that. I'm gonna let the game marinate for a good while 10/10.

no, and it s one of the reason this game is average, the mc is weak, a pushover. The dev try to justify it when you get angry with your mom, but for me it has failed. You can t choose your li, your main wife are forced, choice don t impact the story, only stat which blocks some scene. Graphics are well done but a little old. The story is average but the world build is nice. I think this is why this game have not a lot of people...

I mean, ofcourse the MC is currently weak... He missed 22 years of their lifestyle and love. Also you can literally choose Li's. Sure i don't deny that there are going to be 4 forced Li's but thats literally connected to the main story because of their family connections.
Also you do get to choose if you want to pursue, Lisa, Debby, Lola, Maria, Lily, Probably Leyla at some point. Hopefully Vera joins.
My guess is that MC's harem by the end will consist of. Lilith, Samir's sister, some chick that hasn't been introduced, Mina, Lily, Lisa, Debby, Maria, Leyla, Vera, Jessica, Lola.
Some side chicks will probably be, Rika, Johanna, Ivanaka and those others ones.
