SFM is sure crazy outdated, that was tough to watch.
Yeah, I was about to say. It's been a while since I last saw his animated work and considering the norm that blender has set, it's really hard on the eyes to look at sfm nowadays. Really hoping to see his animated stuff in blender.

I’m weird because if it’s animated, I don’t mind it it’s quality isn’t as high as what you get in Blender. But if it’s a still image I can’t do SFM stuff.

I'm gonna echo some of the previous sentiments especially about Fringilla's face. Particularly the mouth and lower parts look like melting putty. It gets a little better as it goes, but I eventually had to avoid focusing on it with how unsettling it was.

The cock was also off-putting. Desire used a similar effect in Miranda in Charge where the cock seems to have multiple living things inside it and flooping around all weirdly. Hard or soft, friend. Anything else is just bewildering.

The whole thing is significantly redeemed by Desire's usual intensity of action and dynamic character movements. Still, I think this goes down as one of my least favorite DSFM scenes. B+

damn how did you get it this low?
I think virtually every video file posted on this site by every creator is H264. It's a video codec from 2004 or so. It uses the most space, but it's also the most compatible with virtually every device ever made. From your phone to your TV to your media player on your PC.

H265 is the follow-up, and it provides greater space savings. But it takes a bit more resources to decode the video file for playback. AV1 is the open, royalty-free competitor to that. And iirc it provides slightly more space savings than H265.

But AV1 takes a bit more resources to decode files - moreso than H265. And, iirc, Apple didn't have native support for AV1 files until 2021 or so. If you try to open 10 AV1 files you might get slowdown as compared to opening 10 H265 files. Depending on your hardware.

so TL;DR newer and better codec than H264. It saves more space. Space savings can be anywhere from 20 to 90% of the original file size. It's still compression of an already compressed file, but the quality differences should be negligible.
