Wow didn't know the developer had such a colorful history. I only knew the latest reason he gave for disappearing was due to focus on training "staff" in his company to do a refresh of the entire game so far.

He's got such a good product going I don't know why he would want to perform such stunts just to squeeze small paltry amounts. If he had done things consistently he could have been another Caribdis or Runey.

I honestly wish if Moolah has no interest in continuing the project, that they'd just sell the idea to someone else.

It really is a damn shame, the game has good art, and decent plot and lore that could be really interesting in the future, even has some good kinks, but its so disconnected with some of the scenes, and not enough focus in the main storyline.

Added on top their random disappearances, I don't think this game will be completed for a long time, if ever.

I honestly wish if Moolah has no interest in continuing the project, that they'd just sell the idea to someone else.

It really is a damn shame, the game has good art, and decent plot and lore that could be really interesting in the future, even has some good kinks, but its so disconnected with some of the scenes, and not enough focus in the main storyline.

The whole concept of devs making shit with Honey Select, Koikatsu, etc. issue complicates this massively. They technically don't own the assets. That is why they are all making their money via Patreon; they aren't selling a product per se. This is why they can't throw the game up on Steam. I would imagine trying to sell the game to someone else would introduce the same issue.

Technically they could probably get sued just for what they are already doing, but there seems to be an uneasy truce where as long as all they do is churn donation dollars via Cucktreon, no one gets sued. Crossing the line and going into trying to actually sell a product is something that afaik, none of the adult game devs have been keen to test the waters with.

I think the question is why would anyone wanna buy that?

If someone is really interested in continuing the game, it isn't hard to remake all the models with slight changes, replicate the story with some edits, change the backgrounds and BGM with other stock items etc.

Heck, it probably takes less effort to code all the things from scratch then picking apart Moolah's convoluted buggy code to fix it.

What's Moolah gonna do? It's not like he has filed any patents, trademarks or IP in the first place. Which lawyer is going to pick up such a case on contingent basis to fight over paltry amounts in a porn game?

I downloaded version 0.9.5 both from GoFile and PixelDrain. But it feels like I've downloaded a game version that's a lot earlier. There's so many bugs, like my lingerie events enters a repeating loop where I go from the second lingerie event (Strip show with Destiny), back to the first lingerie event (Follow Destiny to Oyster). I've also completed the first main story mission (The one where you get Sophia afterwards) and I already see that it says there's no more main story content.

My folder clearly says 0.9.5 on them, but it feels wrong. Am I supposed to be playing this game some other way?

If you're talking about what I did to play the game, all I did was download the latest game files on the first page of this thread, unzip the folder, and just executed the DeviantAnomalies exe.

If you're talking about the bug that I have with the lingerie store, it's essentially me being on the second day of cleaning the store up, then finishing the cleaning, and then it shows the MC drinking from the vending machine and following Destiny to the Blue Oyster again when it should instead be the Destiny strip show event.

I'm just mostly confused because the game says that its on version 0.9.5 so I assumed that this game would be closed to finished, but I guess not by a long shot.

He is not allowed to sell the idea... he is the dev of the game... but it is not his own game, anyone can plagiarize it and continue with the game, and nothing will happen
