But from a more specific point given here, like talking about pixels labeled as Mom and Son, I don't get the general fuzz Patreon is making. Today was...eye opening to say the least.

As some of you possibly know, there was a little drama over on F95, I won't go into to much detail, but it was an eye opener for sure.

So I've always thought of Deviant Desires as an evolved form of Family Matters, a...Super Saiyan Family Matters if you will.

But, people over on F95 started chatting today and there was a few...rude but true things said.

People was saying Deviant Desires is nothing like Family Matters and that Deviant Desires is a joke, and how I shouldn't have switched from Family Matters.

After reading these comments I decided to have a little play of Deviant Desires...then of Family Matters and to my surprise...there was no similarity between the 2 games, only thing that was remotely the same was the GUI.

so that's what we need to talk about, I've been chatting with Shay and we're both agreed on something.

Basically, almost everything I had planned for Alpha 3 of Deviant Desires will be getting benched for a later day.

Instead, for Alpha 3 we're going to focus more on combining Deviant Desires and Family Matters into the game that Deviant Desires should have been all along.

It's going to follow the story arc of Family Matters while still having the free-roaming ability of Deviant Desires.

It's not all set in stone yet and I'm not going to promise anything as my promises seem to fall through most of the time, but I do feel this could be a great way to go.

OK, now that i've actually played it...There's this thing that's been bothering me. It's not criticism, at least not of the author, but of the MC's character. I mean how much of a wuss do you have to be that, as a man - and he IS a man, although short as fuck - with a job, a steady income (mother huger makes more than i do), and the responsibilities pushed on to him by a missing father figure, when he stumbles onto his whore of a sister fucking her uncle, he goes "oh shit" and hides from her supposed wrath. Like he's the one doing something wrong....

The reason it was released the way it was is because I already had patrons waiting & didn't want to go more than a month without giving them a release, so v0.0.1 took me a month to do, hence why there was so little.

i honesty dont know why you are getting so much hate however i did like the other game alot more then this game i mean the art style and game play in family matters was probably the best thing about it and this game is just starting up

I would say that hate is a strong word... but well, people disliked this update, and they had good reasons.
The game is beautiful render-wise... but the rest is pure crap.

There is no logic.
Peeking or not peeking is about morality, not domination... even so, when you get caught they chew your ass... so the MC should be the one getting dominated, not the other way around.
Helping the sister with the food is cool... but you sit down with the mom to watch Groundhog Day ONE DAY AFTER ANOTHER (Greatest unintended meta-joke in the history of porn-games) but there is no love points?
You can only interact with 4 things in the game... your bed, the always-empty laundry basket, the door of your "job" and the store to buy champagne.
But there is more... there is only ONE event in the game... and doesn't make sense either.

That's not the way to tease a relationship or mystery.
"Oh look, two family members are talking in a family meeting, THEY MUST BE FUCKING!!!"
You got and almost-empty game, give us some clues in the week, strange phone-calls, rare and expensive gifts... but wait, we can't even get in that sister's room.

So you got ALL OF THIS... in the 0.02 version.
The point is that this would have been a weak demo.
Then you remember that this is supposed to be a remake... and well, you collect what you sow.

At a certain point the content stops, after all it is still an alpha. If you have gotten the starting scene, the aunt scene, experienced the movie scene, the one in the bathroom where you get to peak on them if you so choose and the one where the sister will catch you in the kitchen and ask for money. That is pretty much it at this point ^^
