honestly, it would be perfect if i could build this game in such a way that players forget that this is an avn, only to be pleasantly surprised when things get spicy. if i could generate that level of investment and immersion in my narrative, then i could claim to have truly produced a work of art

I found myself quite immersed and enthralled in your storyline, which doesn't happen quite often for me for most other AVNs. I personally see this work of yours as an artistic expressive piece in a sense, and not merely just another AVN. I found myself quite immersed and enthralled in your storyline, which doesn't happen quite often for me for most other AVNs. But yours is quite atypical in that sense...which is a good thing of course

avns like "the song of saya" and "katawa shojou" showed me that these games can have such a substantial impact on a player through narrative alone as one focuses primarily on horror, even in a sexual context, while the other places greater focus on character interactions and plot progression. katawa shojou even grants the option to disable 18+ content, which is just a testament to the true motive of the game itself. i found myself so much more invested and moved by those titles than i ever could've been by the average run-of-the-mill harem game and they inspired me greatly.
also, song of saya has a BANGER of a soundtrack that i wish i could produce myself, with overall sound design that drags you into the game's setting by force. if you've never tried those games, i'd highly recommend them, although the first can be a bit ugly, thematically.

The best kind of games IMHO

I love AVNs that strike a balance between an impactful/compelling narrative and sexual content. Character interactions and the quality of the overarching narrative are part and parcel to delivering a really stand-out/stellar AVN narrative experience.

Really good game. Unique looking models (at least compared to the usual DAZ/HS) that still look great and a weird but interesting story... I'm especially curious about the MC's history with Samantha and why her face has been hidden up until this point.

I dig crazy chicks so Celeste is my fave girl so far.

I have a theory that MC has some hidden resentment against Samantha on account of his dad leaving him and his mom to start a family with Samantha when the MC was just a kid. Or perhaps some prior as of yet unknown incident that scarred him as a kid and made him think of her differently. Hence, why he is hesitant to look directly at her face. Nonetheless, I believe more of this will be expanded upon in EP 2.

Celeste is my fave girl so far

Crazy chicks are my absolute fav as well Especially the Yandere type, which looks like Celeste is sorta heading in that kind of direction as an FMC. Her ingenious nature and charming/albeit manipulative personality is what drew me into her character truthfully speaking.

the typical avn enjoyer likes to have their cake, and eat it too, but i plan on making your choices lead to real consequences that could potentially ruin relationships entirely. this isn't the "people pleasing" kind of game, i don't intend to put together something like that, despite the fact that it would most definitely perform better lol

That's precisely why I love Devil Chile so much because the choices you make can be inferred as quite ambiguous in nature.

As in, one won't exactly know the direct outcome of the choices you make, but each decision you make can sometimes have irreparable consequences on the FMC or any other character that you are interacting with. It provides the game with a unique replayability angle that makes the gameplay/narrative that much more compelling.

One of the best parts of the game IMHO

The inner monologuing that the MC does is quite intriguing to see and how he comes to grips with those thoughts in his head and what sort of scenarios play out in the future as a result of the dream-like scenarios in his head is very interesting to observe.

how do you like the characters that i designed myself? i bet you haven't seen them before, took a while to make.
or the outfits that i make myself too, were they cool?
the music? i can't play an instrument, but i wanted my own sound. i bet i'll get better at it as i move forward.
i haven't played any avns myself that have music/sound design pan from one ear to the next, or follow specific channels. i thought i was onto something there haha

how do you like my writing? did the dialogue feel organic? is my descriptive writing and narration remarkable at all?
did i manage to spark any intrigue or curiosity? are you invested in the plot? are you interested in seeing more of any of the ladies? how about the guys?
what about the symbolism? did you catch any of it? the meaning of the tub? what nothing really is? what the card meant?

the story started to branch a bit to the end, do you see the vison? can you anticipate the consequences?

Can't say that I did. Thematically felt obnoxiously pretentious. Technically - this particular internal monologue style makes it impossible for me to immerse myself. My rule of thumb is that MC's thoughts should be kept to minimum. Let the player draw his own conclusions instead of spoon feeding him your own. Otherwise it feels disrespectful.
