Just looked at the Patreon post like 40 minutees ago, it's gonna be in a few hours for the $10 paid version.
I think the free version is going to be in a week.

Honestly to me it just looks like the dev didn't finish the update on time and is lying for some reason about there being a super gigantic game breaking bug right at the end of development. Even if it is true, very worrying that it takes him this long to fix it lol.

played it just hours before my scheduled surgery, pretty good.
i don't leak stuff day 1 but by the time my eyes recover and nobody has leaked it by then ill drop a link
Mistakes happen and they're frustrating when you have a fanbase that's waiting on updates. I get that this isn't the first time it's happened, but the quality content makes up for any hiccups we run into along the way.
The real problem would be if the long-form content were cut short or if the characters in the same story lost their synergy—that's the most common mistake in these kinds of developments, usually because of internal and external pressure, both from the fanbase and in their own lives.
Let's all just be patient and hope this gets fixed ASAP for the good of the game. Now we wait and see if that big update they promised us is actually real
Not to be an asshole or anything, I won't debate how piracy and leaks works or affect what or not, this is topic for anther time, BUUUUT... You can't delay free update for A WHOLE MONTH and expect ppl not to leak it in that time span

A week's worth of waiting seems the most ideal "compromise" a dev can make: it's just long enough to encourage people to sub for "priority" access to the game, but also short enough to where subscribers are not encouraged to leak the game because, well... it will be free in 7 days.
Dev's (like Glephy) that think they can bait more subs in by making public releases A MONTH AWAY are, sadly, gravely mistaken.
Ultimately, there is no rule on how to fight piracy, but from my own observations, there are some clear DOs & DON'Ts when it comes to AVN distribution.
I just want to say that this is by far the worst update someone could've wasted 3 months for prepare for an immense disappointment

Unfortunate that it got leaked so fast, but to be fair, when something is good people want it. It's worth dropping some $ to the dev if you can miss it.
