What's the game about?

3 seemingly independent stories involving humans and humanlike androids (I believe). Despite all the unwarranted hate going on around here I'd have to say it's a very polished, sophisticated, high quality game with beautiful renders and characters. There is a lot of investigative player interaction going on, but most of it I wouldn't even call minigames. There are one or two minigames that actually require you to use your brain so that's obviously not to everyones taste...
As far as I remember there is a single minigame during a sex-act that can be annoying if you want to actually complete it, but you absolutely don't have to. You won'T miss out on scenes or the story if you don't.

I've found a way to skip Unseen text in games that do not allow it:
*Open "console" (Ctrl + O) and write this command:
preferences.skip_unseen = True
[case sensitive text]

You skip by holding "Ctrl" button. You may go back using mouse Scroll button.
But be warned that it may skip the sequences when you have lots of options like when checking the dead body in male MC's intro.
*don't ask how to open it here. Just search for it on the forum or google it.

I have to agree that I haven't really seen too many black girls without making a white character made to look black by darkening the skin color. And the only black guy that I see is the dude from Acting Lessons and Dreams of desire.


All the games from Quantic Dream were never about gameplay, more about cinematic visual story telling. Almost like most VN's here. They just sprinkle the qte and the walking to keep the player engage.

So would you say games like Detroit become human is another form of Visual novel?

I would like to see that list. Truth be told I think there a place for mini games in VN otherwise there really little gameplay in VN. If they had one to begin with. Most VN is just easier to watch it in pornhub then to actually play it yourself.
