Onto my quick thought:
Not sure if this has already been mentioned, and I'm not sure if this is going to be changed in the upcoming version 2.0, but I remember from 1.9 that losing the resist minigame costs you 1 Heart, but indulging costs 2. I feel it would be more fair to flip those around, since resisting would then have the risk of costing double or nothing, whereas giving in and letting it happen would be a middle ground option.
As I said, I'm not sure if this has been put forth already, just my 2 cents.

Hope the newly added scenes get the "full finale" as well.On that note, the fungus brute scene in the bestiary no longer has the climax stages. Is this supposed to be like that or a bug? I remember those parts being there in v1.9 so maybe it's a bug somewhere.

Playing through the fungus brute scene and the "indulge" option for the rapevine, they are on long delay timers compared to the other scenes before their climax is available (In the case of the rapevine may also need to view additional scenes). Try waiting around 15-30 seconds on the fungus brute, failing that try switching to the second camera angle and back.

If I'm not mistaken, the latest version has an auto-save system that saves every time you reach a checkpoint, start a (the) mission or leave said mission. That's what I've gathered from personal observation, though.
Ok so I am in the cave supposed to controll the enemies.... no idea how to do that. It says to navigate them with "F" but how do I gain control in the first place ?

Wait, how did you make it through the cave without it? Did you aim the red disc perfectly?
I hit the orb by shooting discs for about an hour. After I hit it and the bridge formed I charmed one Ganker, made it follow me to the platform, ran across the bridge as fast as I could so it would not follow me through the spikes. He jumped on the platform and I made it across. I never wanna do it again.

Right clicking can be used to command your charmed allies as well. Just be sure not to lead them onto traps: either send them around spike traps or make sure the trap is out of sight. F is used to make your charmed ally attack. C puts them under your control.
On that note, how did you even get to the towretts? You need to put an ally on the p-plate there as well.
Did you read what it said? You need to click on the word synonymous for difficult.

this game is needlessly difficult... if this is the first stage, then i'm already getting turned away... not saying that there shouldn't be a challenge, but this has a little too much now. the previous demo before this had a nice amount of challenge for the first stage.

Which version are you playing? 1.95 or 1.96? I believe that the former was more difficult than the latter on purpose.
I'm fairly sure the cheat code has been shared already. Although that may have been for 1.95.
