You mean in real life, right!?Looks like my character is still keeping his virginity
Android lost character naming because that functionality is super buggy on android and hardlocked a number of people.Am I misremembering or did we used to be able to name our character???
Also, during the tutorial/beginning if you choose water mage you apparently get soft locked cause you run out of Mana to kill the big boar and have no options to do anything else? Anyone else found a way to bypass or are water mages truly the most oppressed class
That sucks anyway we can get it in the future pretty please with a cherry on top???Android lost character naming because that functionality is super buggy on android and hardlocked a number of people.
For the second question... that definitely sounds like something is going wrong. You should be getting 1 mana back per turn. I will look into it and see if I can figure out what's going wrong, sorry for the trouble.

i keep getting this after EVERY fight after the update
Ability stack issue is fixed for next update. I will look into the boss thing, hopefully an easy fix.Same as above, I'm not sure what the underlying issue is, but combat is bugged.
Also, in the Tutorial? Not sure, when you fight the first boss in weird world who summons adds, the choice attack will error if you aoe. And the aoe won't go off, so you can't use it. Makes like as a single target user very hard.
The problem is that bringing it back on android bricks it for a surprising number of people. That renpy functionality has been very buggy for many years, apparently. The functionality is still there on PC, but I'm honestly not sure how to bring it back to android without making the game unplayable for some. That sucks anyway we can get it in the future pretty please with a cherry on top???
Also, I have noticed I am missing the skip/menu/q. Save/ q.load things at the bottom, usually after the error screen whenever I finish a fight which I think the guy above posted. And about the mana sometimes I think it forgets to give it to me? Combined with the loss of saves it's getting kinda tedious hope we get a hotfix soon...
oh, and are all the scenes just those listed in the gallery cause it doesn't seem like it from the change log?
Congratulations on the anniversary!View attachment 1657900
0.18a is finally out! Celebrating the first anniversary of the game (February 8, 2021), this is the biggest content update yet, both in writing and mechanics.
While it's been a little bumpy along the way, and not all of my initial plans worked out the way I hoped, we've still made quite a bit of progress. I've learned a lot more about coding/structure, fixed a lot of stuff, and added quite the volume of content. The initial release had a bit over 20,000 words; this one takes us well past 200,000! That's roughly three novels long, for reference.
Here's to an even more productive year ahead!
Changelog;
With the anniversary update out and most of the characters now with a decent chunk of content, I'm going to try to find a balance of character content and finally push the plot forward next update. The goal is to write Sam romance, Ina talks, and main plot forward, releasing... somewhere around mid-March. It'd be nice to get onto a consistent schedule, like always releasing on the 15th or something, but idk how it'll work out.
- Metatron now has 6 and 8 affection scenes, exploring her character and pushing her romance forward. She also gets a conversation with Sarah, a conversation about gods, and (if you refused the moonlit visitor's offer) a special conversation about that.
- Aspasia now has art, courtesy of the gigachad jfc! Along with the usual expressions and ability to get naked, she also has an adaptive portrait next to the text. If y'all like it, I'll extend it to other girls next update.
- Aspasia also got two new conversations, which have a decent bit of lore and personality in them, as well as a 4 trust scene. She actually has a personality now!
- Sarah and Ashley both have massive new lewd scenes, available in the evening and at night respectively. They are by far the longest in the game currently. The Ashley scene was partially in honor of TheTimeHasCumAndSoHaveI 's phenomenal review!
- Maya got a dumb conversation because I was wondering how she felt about pets.
- Most buffs and debuffs have been reworked; they no longer cost a turn, but instead cost mana per turn. They have been rebalanced, but not necessarily perfectly, feedback would be very helpful.
- Many new buffs/debuff abilities added, ex. AOE buffs/debuffs exist that can affect much of the battlefield, like permanently burning enemies. My tentative feeling is that they're probably too strong, but again, feedback is welcome.
- Massive amounts of functionality have been added to traits, and there are ~15-20 new traits taking advantage of it. Most magic and weapon types have 1-3 special traits, most of which only apply to that form of offense, but can grant benefits like increased freeze chance or reduced cooldowns for dagger skills. Once again, balance is WIP.
- Arden Outskirts and Arden Expanse now have monster art, courtesy of the talented Garrisen! I really love how the hobs came out in particular. Unfortunately, the Shaman is still a huge dick; art can't fix that.
- Complete honesty, I guarantee I forgot to mention a bunch of other changes and probably missed a scene
- Special thanks to grim for help proofreading, Pavonius for help getting ability sort working, and jfc for helping me get the instant ability UI looking nice!
My hope is also to have Ina character art and Severn Floodplains enemy art next update, though I can't promise both will happen. As always, previews and sketches on Patreon as they occur.
Starting next week, I'll also begin doing more regular streams, first on discord and then eventually moving to a proper streaming site. They seem to be great for productivity, and so far people have found them somewhat interesting.
Oh, so THATS why my old character have a weird name Fucker.Am I misremembering or did we used to be able to name our character???
Mmmm, a kiss with the taste of mercury.A kiss
Yes to most of that actually. I've been thinking about how comfy a slime bath could be, and cuddling could go some weird ways LOL. I'm definitely going to continue pushing her relationship over time, and as she gets a bit less spergy she'll be open to that kind of thing for sure.So Aspasia is really sexy. Will we get to sleep in her body at night? Take slime baths with her? A kiss or more affection scenes soon? And hopefully lewd her soon? Because her art is just wow.
Yeah, should be fixed in 18d. Since it was the anniversary update I tried to go big and flew a little too close to the sun; this was both the biggest writing /and/ mechanics update of the game so far. Which uh... caused some issues. So, an interesting bug I found on 18b, it probably is fixed by the patches of 18c/d, but, noting it in case it's not. Not able to earn experience, meaning I was, frankly, fucked. Game's not built around being level five forever, and I also had the post-battle bug, occurring starting from the first boar battle, probably is tied to that. Luckily I checked to see if it was occurring for others, cause the game's got some chops, just an unfortunate patch cycle for me to have found it on.
Happens, you patched it out, most that can be asked of any dev. Big updates always cause issues, especially for solo devs, I just didn't want to judge it based off an admittedly unfair first impression, when it was the game clearly under-preforming from where it can. Certainly some takeaway lessons, but, I'm a cynic on a pirate porn-game message board, hardly the one you need to be listening to for that.Yeah, should be fixed in 18d. 18d seems to be fairly stable now, or at least people stopped reporting issues with it lol.
I highly recommend upgrading from b to d if you intend to continue, and for what it's worth, I apologize for the issues. I tried to test everything, but a lot of the issues only happened on a new game or in very specific circumstances, and I was adding new content up until 2am the night before release.
I definitely have some lessons to learn from this.
