Hi, love the look of the art style from the screenshots. And the combat and stats system looks really nice. I don't know if anyone has asked yet but is there any chance you will add the option to play as a female in the future? I know that can be a lot of work in these types of games but it would be awesome to be able to play as my gender.

Complete honesty here, yeah? I would love to do that, it was in my original plans for the game, but I learned the hard way that I can't even keep up with one MC and the existing characters. Sam had a gender choice and that basically stifled both versions until I cut male Sam, and now FSam has a good variety of content and one of the best romance scenes in the game with her Badon date.

This is my first project, and I definitely shot for the stars a bit too hard, still trying to figure out what I can actually do and what should hit the cutting board. To really do a female MC justice, a lot of scenes would have to change to account for their lived experiences, and of course CGs don't exactly work the same for both genders, so it's just not something I can commit to in good faith.

Nope no chance. Sam whas originally supposed to be either Male or Female where you could have a good Bro but Cryswar realized that the difference between a Male and Female friend are so big that it would make enterily two different games. He also realized that having multiple different flavour dialogs about what you personally would like is also very hard to write so no, no chooseable gender as the story is enterily written from the point of a male character, so much that the character is becomming less like a self insert and more like the genuine own existence like for example Asterisk from Evenicle

Agreed with all of this, and thank you for responding to Xheris before I got to it. I like the idea of having gender choices, but doing them justice is more than an amateur like me can really pull off. Astaroth has become very much his own character over time as well, much of it not gender-unique, but some of it is, so it would add even more complexity to getting it right.
