It's going, got too lost in the sauce moving a bunch of different character and main plot things forward lol. Aspasia's personal plot, MC getting a couple scenes of development, Siofra, hopefully Alicia, Amnelis, etc. No one I can blame but myself, lol.
No problem, glad I could help! I am very much here for the idea of having pregnant waifu endings, it's just hard to mix in naturally and most of the relationships aren't at that point of trust/wanting to spend lives together yet.
although now you got me thinking, not about this game. just in general, what would be the result if a human impregnated a succubus?, would they be like skyrim's dovakiin, human body with succubus powers, or would it be the reverse? would they need to eat like a human. or like a succubus and just need to have sex in order to survive.
Good questions! I actually love that kind of lore, it's insane HOW many takes on the succubus myth have existed, from ancient Mesopotamia to Greek off-brand succubi to medieval church lore to modern offshoots. The truth is that there is no one correct answer, just a bunch of different answers depending on which succubus myth you like best.
Outside of this game, lore on succubus/incubus offspring varies, but my understanding is that succubi often can't have children with humans, or if they can, the most common term I'm aware of is a 'cambion.' The abilities of cambions in old folklore wasn't much of a focus, but in more modern mythology (ex. D&D, Teen Titans' Raven, Devil May Cry's main guys) they're typically badasses, though often weaker than a true demon. Usually the best of human and demon, whatever that means for the setting. The downsides are usually downplayed.
IN DD specifically I kinda ran with a lot of the above. Succubi cannot get pregnant, but I do have plans for the succubi to find a way to do so. Their children will depend a bit on what corruption path you follow (pure human, incubus, etc) but likely have some form of the succubus's abilities (empathy, synergistic/parasitic relationship with emotions, affinity for Nether magic, etc) and possibly some of the father's if relevant. Succubi here don't NEED sex/semen, but can easily get addicted to the emotional attachment, and I imagine that would be a theme for offspring who come of age as well.
speaking of d & d, i like punkey doodles animations, my favorite is the two knights, where one always tells the truth and the other lies, and to figure out which is which the barbarian kills one and asks, " is he dead?''
Wow last update is 7 months ago, hope the game is still being developed. Speaking of which will Ashley get more scenes or nah
Yeah, it's just a huge update in progress moving forwards a bunch of different storylines. I can't blame anyone else for my failure to budget time properly lol, all I can say is that it's still coming and I have almost everything done I want to for the update.
As for your question, I'm working on an Ashley scene right now actually! All of the girls will continue getting more scenes, none of their stories are anywhere near done.

as one who *can't* commonly pay for stuff hope you don't get a glorious seat in the hallowed halls of "x amount of time for this?" from people which is common here. on the (not so?) bright side you've got years, quest failed the closest to yours i can think of has been in "big update" and "almost done" stage for like 9 years people still support him

This is one of the only projects I still follow I pop back in from time to time.
I love the story, characters, and really just about everything in this game please understand that it isn't about time tables or amount of content its about you enjoying working on it and the players enjoying playing it. I'd rather have 1 meaningful content drop that took an entire year than a bunch of micro updates with AI art or some half ass slapped together scene that looks like its straight out of Newgrounds from 2008.
If your working hard and enjoying it the content that comes out will show that and from what I can tell due to the involvement with the community as well as the product itself that is the case and you have nothing to worry about!

Know that no matter how long it takes, I shall always return for more Metatron and Maya. I'd rather you not burn yourself out and there's plenty of stuff to play, so I don't need to get all hung up on the development of a single game
Hey, I really appreciate the vote of confidence from both of you. It's always nice to hear what people enjoy about the game, and know that people are actually excited for new updates. Sometimes launches come and go and it doesn't feel like anyone was that excited so it helps to have evidence to the contrary in my head, you know?
With that said, an update is definitely overdue and with some bits of my life clearing up I do need to buckle down and just finish this one. Taking so long on an update is bad for storytelling, awful financially (not that this game has ever been anything but a time and money sink) and makes it all too easy for me to get lost in the sauce on side content as well.
Hopefully the amount of new stuff and story progress will satisfy folks when it is done, but regardless I gotta post something sooner or later lol.
Just want to add while I haven't had the time to replay for the recent updates (lost my old save) but between your writing and the overall feel of the game this is one of my favourites.
tbf I think many, like myself, are waiting a couple of updates, until they play again. I love your work too.
