When you visit the site without a vpn and then try to visit it with one you still end up being view blocked. Perhaps it's related to the tab? I'm not sure what tech they're using these days but deleting all the cookies allowed me to see everything again with a vpn.I tried blocking ALL the cookies in browser's settings and it didn't work. When I tried a VPN previously, I didn't have that issue. But I noticed that I've had a 10yo cookie from DLsite, not sure if that had anything to do with it. Also, I was browsing in private/incognito mode.
It's working What are you saying? What's the problem? Can you be specific about it? I live here in the USA and I have no problems with accessing it with UrbanVPN
What do you mean by "did it work"? It worked before and it works now as well. I'm not as tech savvy as some users here, but Urban Shield VPN still works. Here, some proof below.

Looks like the name of the cookie that enforces geoblock even after switching to a VPN is "_inflow_dlsite_params". There's something else which will block a specific page that you've viewed from a western IP even after deleting cookies, but it seems to recover after an hour or so...
I was able to access blocked pages after deleting that cookie and enabling a Japanese VPN. I also tried writing a Tampermonkey script to delete it automatically when accessing dlsite.

Unfortunately pages are still blocked when you try to access them with this script working using Tampermonkey. I did delete all my cookies beforehand and then entered using a VPN to ensure I had access beforehand.

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you! There might be some difference between our environments that makes it so the same script doesn't work for you. You were able to access blocked pages after deleting all cookies it looks like? I attached a more aggressive version of the script that automatically deletes all cookies from dlsite except for "adultchecked", "locale" and "localesuggested" as deleting those would lose your saved locale and cause dlsite to constantly prompt you for your age and location.
You can give that a try, there are a few things you can attempt if it is still not working:
Verify that you are able to access blocked pages after deleting all pages and using a Japan VPN. (I tested with UrbanVPN) Ideally note down the URLs for a few blocked pages.
Generate the cookie by connecting to dlsite without a VPN or with a VPN from a geoblocked country and verify that you are blocked from viewing one of the pages.
Enable your VPN and the tampermonkey script and open one of the other blocked URLs. (I'd suggest trying a different page since it seems like an individual page can be blocked for a while even after deleting the cookie.)
Press F12 while a dlsite page is open, and see if the "Deleting cookies" message is printing in the console at the bottom. (If not then make sure the script is active and running on

Tor isn't a VPN though? And to my knowledge just using Tor doesn't fix any issues relevant to the thread.
you can change the exit node on tor to japan to look japanese, basicaly a vpn

Okay, so I downloaded Tor and restricted exit nodes to jp. The IP is recognized as being Japanese but DLSite still restricts access to region-locked content.
So just having a Japanese IP isn't enough it seems.
Looking into it, using Tor for this isn't advisable and doesn't reliably work.
Update: It works *sometimes*. I wonder if it has to do with being lucky with the timing of the exit node connection? I had to reset like a dozen times before reaching a restricted content page.

I am currently able to view blocked content from direct links and am even suggested them from circle recommends. The items are still blocked in searches and on the circle pages themselves though.
I am also able to pay with VISA, and the transactions do go through.
EDIT: Ignore the pixelized thumbnails, did it so that I could upload the image to ULMF.
EDIT^2: Using Edge Chromium.

Just a friendly reminders the CC duos endgoal is to censor and block all nsfw content. The reason they go after the more extreme tags as of now is because its the true and tried strategy to get their foot in.
No one bats an eye when niche fetish content gets censored unless it affects them. Its divide and conquer.
Not even vanilla will remain at the end of the day. So saying anyone is winning who is a member of this board is beyond weird. Everyone is on the chopping block. They made this very clear.
