Yes, just don't lose in No retreat dungeon, and don't loitering when your member runaway, go help them(progress the quest) immediatly
I'm having exactly the same issue and it's frustrating to no end. Someone please answer this.
Try this, worked for me:
Step 1: open notepad and do whatever you want(fill it with the required stats or nothing or whatever)
Step 2: press the file button top left and hit save
Step 3: locate the "encoding" dropdown menu
Step 4: set it to ANSI
Step 5: save the file
You now have your ansi file, fill it in with the details and put it in the user folder and you should have your custom talent/client, if you want to make more ansi text files you can either do the instructions again or just copy paste the ansi file you already have
hello sorry im going off topic, but regarding the system locale thing to prevent the game crashing. can i just download the japanese language pack? does that work as well? or it is a must to change the system locale to japanese?
also for some reason after downloading and when i try to open the file, it showed me this

if the solution was to download the japanese language pack we wouldn't have told you to switch locale, switch locale, in terms of your "catastrophic failure", I got nothing good luck lol

edit: so the problem was not using 7zip...for some reason i thought all this time i had 7zip. problem solved

Thank you, this worked like a charm. I can now start the game and it tells me how many talent and client loaded. The only problem is now clients are loading in as talent and the \n appears in Talent names. Additionally, the Traits and Stats are set perfectly, but the Bios are random.
I don't know why this is happening because I followed the guide and templates exactly, but I'll link my files here just in case (including the guide itself)

So I decompiled and recompiled the cg file to remove/censor/replace most partial or full sexual content from the game (I only kept in fully uncensored adult sex scenes / sprites, the uncensored files are from here)
Positives:
- 1 less gigabyte than the uncensored version
- You could ALMOST play it as is on Youtube (still have to skip sexual content in the options but there are like 3 sex scenes left with CG, you probably won't stubble upon them on accident, they are not in the main story)
- The first page of the CG extra menu is also now fully SFW so accidental press should be ok, even with a full save
- No dialogue or audio was removed from the game
Bad timing on the release but I made it for myself as I think the concept and gameplay is dope but I didn't want to deal with some of the sprites / CG so this made it a lot better for me. This is just an option for people like me but don't want to put hours into doing this. This game is amazing and I really recommend it.

Works on Android with Winlator latest version if anyone was wanting to play on Android. I used Vortex & WineD3D, add environmental variables, LC_ALL & value ja_JP.UTF-8, and BOX64_DYNAREC_STRONGMEM & value as 1. I also put box64 preset at intermediate.
Some small issues and long loading at saving/loading screen but otherwise seems to work fine though I haven't gotten that far into the game yet so I can't say for certain.

Well, I try playing the game and I got some errors, please help me, this error make it so... frustration
I reallly like Alicesoft and their game but this one is so weird, no problem with all of their Rance game with me till now

check to make sure your save folder is not read only and that you're on japanese locale, those are the usual suspects
It's been a while since I played this game, but I wanted to give my respects to BaasB for not fixing the download and forcing people to read the 2nd comment to find out how to fix it, resulting in 80 pages of dumbfucks asking why the game doesn't work.
