how do i start the first battle it just keeps saying there is still time before the next round and i think i did everything i could even cleared all the dungeons
There's a bug, the game allows you to waste the arena turn by starring into the fire, if you use fire to "snap out of it", you will lose a turn and you won't be able to get into the arena... ever. I fixed it with a save edit, there's a variable called "TurnsUntilNextRound", if you overstay your welcome, it goes negative. 0 means you can enter the arenaSame problem here
I did, by cheating. There's a cutscene and the next round after that Yumeko(girl in white from intro), she's even harder, if you beat here, the game says thanks for playing, no more content in this version.I think its not possible.

The holds do way too much and the qtes are are crazy quick considering you lose if you miss them.
Those suggestions are always great to receive, development on the game will continue and there's so much potential on scenes to add in between matches and during each defeat. Unfortunately yes, RPGMaker limitation.Do you need to re-start the game to see those differences? Difficulty and HP doesn't seem to be changed.
I'll add an extra second to input commands for each grab then, hopefully that helps you finish my game. At a later date I do pretend adding a difficulty setting so that players can adjust however they want to play. I rather overtweak it than frustrating people here. To be fair you're not supposed to win there, but it is possible.It's been mentioned but I find the fact that the QTE arrows move as you input them to be a very annoying feature. The events are fast enough you kind of need to read ahead while inputting and it is super hard to do that while they are scrolling across the screen. I'd really prefer a system where they remain static but light up or change colours as you input them. I'm amazed this is the "nerfed" version of Harumi too because boy that QTE is still not easy lol. I like the character designs so far though so props for that.
This is generally bad design. Players assume they have to beat the game they are playing and sometimes the idea of a forced loss goes over their heads or is simply just frustrating because it invalidates trying to play well. And while you can tell them here, a lot of your potential players will not come to look here so they play, fail, perhaps repeatedly, think you don't know how to make a good game and not look back.To be fair you're not supposed to win there, but it is possible.
