Loss of team members fluent in said system? Lack of testers? Other limitations?!
Are you also sure it started that way and wasn't just a requested port at a certain, limited, time?

In the hacking game it's frustrating that clicking on the group of characters doesn't necessarily work. You have to exactly click on the characters, but avoid the spaces between the characters. It would be a lot better if clicking on the group of characters worked.
I have never seen so bad gallery mode
