oh man... i thought of this update for months. i waited and hoped to get released since about 2 weeks now and it still gets dragged now further every day...

i think most of us totally understand if there is some trouble or private life issues... but if you announce several times a fix date it gets really frustrating...

and i really doubt now that the main issue was the old guys hair in one of the latest updates...

Well yes. If the dev had said "hey guys, i have a couple of problems with my life or with tha game,the update will be delayed, i dont know how long, thank you for your support", i doubt anyone here would bat an eye. But if you look at the last 6 pages of this thread, the dev has set about 5 or 6 deadlines himself, without needing to, and proceeded to miss all of them. It leaves a sour taste and people making fun in the comments are kinda justified

A Patreon is justified to be upset as the update taking longer than expected. They would/should complain in the Patreon directly to the Developer. Fact is 90% of the people here don't support dev at all, and there cries should be ignored by the dev.

As soon as it does release watch how many of the people crying now will turn into the "WE NEED A HERO" people.

I find the whole thing amusing.

I just think its idiotic for someone to string anyone along, 5 to 6 missed updates says stringing people along to me but hey maybe people will lose interest in the game, people that might have financially supported the dev won't because of the dev's lack of integrity. Its not just about the current Patreon supporters its also about advertising for new ones... the fact that you clearly don't see that suggests limited brain power.

I hope you understand, i agree with almost everything you said. But i dont think that cries of non-paying fans should be just ignored. Transparency goes a long way, and a big part of his work is not just creating the game, but also advertising it to a growing audience. And i dont think the last 2 weeks did the dev any favors or helped grow his community

I agree with keeping your deadlines 100% he set the date he should have kept his date. I agree.
People being upset about it especially the Patreons I agree transparency is important.
The biggest problem this Dev has is COMMUNICATION, with the Patreons and the community.

It has been for a long time. I know this as I used to be a Patreon for this title. I stopped because as much a I love this game his communication to his Patreon was bad.

Now I am NOT a Patreon but I still love this game an hope he gets his Act/Life together its a great game. However no longer supporting this game development means I am entitled to nothing. If you are not a supporter you are entitled to nothing.

People here think the have every right to be angry and the only people entitled to be angry are the Patreon supporters. Checking this thread daily and whining about it gets to be annoying.

So am I annoyed that the game isn't released yet...slightly but there are 1000 other titles on F95 and the impatient people should go and try another game until this one is ready.

2. Look in OP, as to who actually posted the game. Most of the updates are also posted by FMag (Not the dev, but a supporter who generously posts here)

late august 2022, version 0.10 was released. Then the dev took the next 4-5 months to create v0.10.5 which had no new content, but some game and code changes, that he said would help him a lot to release more updates more regularly, and also implemented a gallery, but only for the grandpa quests. So basically the april update, which had new content only in the main quest and the masseuse, is the only content this game has added in a little over a year. Kinda concerning

I have seen some hypocrites in this thread that were defending the dev when he was continuously giving dates for 3 times, they were saying that "Dev is so transparent, at least he is giving updates daily," and now that the dev has been gone missing for 3 days, they are still defending "it is okay." I mean, are you dumb or what?


The reason why I am commenting on this forum is because I want new users to know how Dev is treating his patrons as well as the whole audience. Some dumbos were saying, "You have no right to say if you aren't a patreon." Bruh, more people play the game, the more his patrons will increase. So the non-patrons opinion also matters because they are his future patrons. This is such common sense, and they give another excuse by saying to play something else. Mate I don't want to play any new games, and I am sure many people are like me who have 2-4 games that they only play.


The more people who read this and decide not to take his membership, the better he will treat his audience. Simple as that.

Though I have never justified his actions but yeah I will agree with this comment 100%. Whole audience opinion matters I have also supported dev initially for 2 months but because he give updates rarely I cancelled mine.


Logic is simple no ones actually needs to become his patron if it is just about the game because they can get the game somewhere else uploaded anyway but some people are still supporting him because they genuinely wants to support him and not just for the game . If he starts to become active and give realistic dates I will again support him and I am sure many people will also.
It is necessary to make him realise to not take audience for granted .
