He also said that it would be the first week of May if everything goes according to plan. I guess there will be an update soon stating that there were unforeseen issues and that the release will be delayed.

But if it is worthy I'm ok with waiting a bit more (hopefully being able to play "dirty secret" after ages )

I've seen how coding works in a previous job... So I'm not concerned at all. It's better to take some additional time for troubleshooting and finishing what you really want to create instead of publishing something bad just because you want to stick to a certain release date.
