If NTR is deactivated, it simply doesn't happen. Your wife for example may become estranged and leave you, but there will be no other man and she won't be leaving your for someone else. Just cold lonely divorce...maybe. Or maybe she just hates your guts but still hate fucks you on the regular because a woman has needs.
If NTR is turned on, then there will certainly be another man in the picture. But if you're good to your wife and treat her right, she'll stay loyal and tell joe-fuck-face-home-wrecker to go blow himself in Macy's display window. But if NTR is on and you treat her like shit, well then she just might start drinking water from a different well.
I use the wife as an example but the NTR type content may (I don't want to get into the fine details of what is and isn't NTR, so I say NTR-type), but this type content may appear in other character stories as well. But at the end of the day, even if it's on, it can generally be avoided if you just don't treat your women like simple fuck toys and treat them good every once in awhile.
But if it's turned off ,the content simply isn't there and the story will play out a little differently.
There's no missing images there. Originally, Renpy displayed a black screen (which was how it was meant to appear) in the build used to create the original release. Updates to renpy itself now render those out as transparent image and it looks like a missing render. I have plans to go back and correct that to avoid future confusion, I just haven't gotten around to it yet with all the work going into the update.

For my own education, can you please enlighten me on the difference between futa and trans? I have learned so many new terms for different kinks and such since joining F95 and I seriously don't know all of the nuances between some of these terms yet.
