But seriously, I love the girls, and Lupita and Wifey as well, the only one's that don't do anything for me is the asian lady and the lady MC met at the gym (bit too buff for my tastes). I'm happy with whatever dev conjures up for us really.

If I choose to turn off trans content how does that affect the story ? Will we not be able to secure Lance at all ?
I mean it seems the MC will lose regardless, as its one of those games where no matter ow well you play his future is decided, and it goes to hell at the end.
Dont get me wrong, Lola is a beautiful model, and I like her personality... its just she is actually trans, and not a mystical "futa"... she has a dick and balls, and no pussy, meaning only anal sex for her...
For the dev, I am hoping if I turn off the trans content, the MC can still be her friend, and get her support without sex, similar to what I am doing with Jane (a tutor) as i dont find her attractive either, and the "bad girl that wishes to piss off daddy" annoys me... If being nice to Jane and Amanda still nets the MC sex with them, I rather take that route, than the easy road.

First off, let me thank you for how open and responsive you've been on this forum. It's really nice to see a developer openly talk with the players on this forum.
Secondly, in terms of the red/blue mechanic, specifically with the daughter, As she opens up sexually via the red path, I just feel like it could lead to an NTR (if you have the cheating option open) path for her as she'll be more open to sex and possibly just go with whoever she's attracted to. I'm just not really a fan of NTR (specially if I connect with the character)
In any case, I'll probably just have two play throughs (blue and red) to see each path, lol.

I am indefatigable! The good news is that even though the play test was massively leaked, no one is reporting any game breaking errors. So that's a plus.

I try to keep the MC as invisible as possible. There are times when an action demans his visibility, like kissing and fucking. But even then I try to keep his face hidden so as to maintain immersion.
Do we? I don't know. Depends on what else you keep in your basement.
There will be more Lola content in due course. And for what it's worth, I've conjured quite a bit. Just needs pictures!
Turning off content does not result in less game. Instead, there is a fork in the path and with Trans off, the story goes one way, with it on it goes another. Regardless, you come back out on the same track as before. I do this so that players who don't like specific fetishes aren't penalized for their disinterest. You'll still secure Lance, it'll just be via other means. The individual fetishes will add flavor, but not change the story in dramatic ways.
That's not necessarily true. I believe good narrative is driven by good drama. But I don't believe all drama needs to lead to tragedy. I do have 'happy' and 'sad' endings planned. But I don't plan to trick you down one course or another. The forks in the path will be pretty clearly marked and you'll get to make a conscious effort on which way you go.
Just some info on me as a writer. I don't feel like I need to pull surprises or dish out consequences for player choices. I think a good story, solid narrative, player choices and immersive depth make the journey to the end worth the whole experience. So you'll never get any gimmicks or tricks from me. The story stands well on it's own and I don't need any kind of Shyamalanian twist to make it worthwhile.
I also don't feel like I'm spinning a morality tale where I expect you to learn anything. When I'm writing this story, I think more along the lines of a good T.V. drama like Madmen, The Sopranos, Deadwood, or Californication. The story is more about the characters and how their lives intersect to whatever ends that may bring. Each chapter I treat like an episode with it's own developments and story arcs that tie into the larger picture.
It may feel like Roger is losing now, but that's just because the best stories begin with a big shift in the main character's reality. There will be plenty of highs and lows along the way.
Right now the only way to do this is to leave Trans On, but then not have sex with Lola. When Trans is off you get driven down the Lita story path. I may try and find a way to cross over from one story to the next further on, but that has yet to be determined. For development purposes I had to keep the two paths distinct and binary. Otherwise I slip into this hole of criss-crossing story lines that rapidly becomes difficult to manage and requires the development of too many alternatives.
As we get a little further in the story I'm keeping my eye open for opportunities to allow players to jump tracks if they choose.
I find the best way to get ahead of scrutiny is to be completely open about development. Plus I get a lot of good ideas from players that otherwise wouldn't occur to me. Things like pregnancy and transgender characters that offer unique challenges and are fun to write. As far as NTR type stuff, if it's turned off, then it simply won't happen. Complete omission with an alternative story in it's place. And for what that's worth, the NTRish stuff is currently only planned for the Wife and Nanami. I might expand it if there is juicy story to be told. But I don't have any fetishes for the sake of having them. If having a fetish doesn't add to the drama or interest of the story, then I don't include it. Story is always first.

What a week! So the play test went out, Yay! But then it got leaked on the pirate forums and all hell broke loose!
Those who've been around me for awhile know that I don't care much if the game gets pirated. I see it as free advertising and the truth is, 95% of my patrons came to my game through such forums.
Unfortunately, the play test getting leaked caused a lot of disappointment because people thought it was a finished release and it wasn't. Most people were understanding and accepted the disappointment with a good deal of grace. Of that I'm grateful!
I mean, I get it. I understand the disappointment. I've been playing these games a lot longer than I've been making them. I've been there. I just appreciate all the level headed folks who saw the situation, agreed it was unfortunate, and then demonstrated continued faith by saying they still can't wait for the actual release. Again, thank you!
BUT!
The upside to all this madness is that more people played the play test than would have normally. And the ultimate benefit to that, is that with the exception of missing fonts on the Mac version, NO SERIOUS OR GAME BREAKING BUGS WERE REPORTED!
It may not immediately seem like it, but this is a huge deal. Seven scenes for a brand new chapter using the restructured interface and all coding using my conversion script, and No Errors!
That's a huge boost to my confidence in the program we've established. It means the new interface is working exactly how it should and that the conversion script is fully functional. This bodes incredibly well for our future and nearly spells the end of manual coding for the game. Coding was easily 50% of the workload that went into a release. With it out of the way! We're heading towards easy street.
Other Fun Facts!
I did some calculating, and we put out the first seven scenes of Cassie's new chapter in about eleven weeks. That's around 8,000 words (not including coding) and around 450 images.
Now I wasn't keeping as close an eye on the stats as I was this time around, but the first render for Amanda's last chapter was created on 11/7/2019 and the last image was completed on 2/16/2020.
So for simple comparison:
Amanda Chapter 02: 14 Weeks = 340 Images = 24.3 Images per Week
Cassie Chapter 02: 11 Weeks = 450 Images = 40.9 Images per Week
I know taking those long summer months to code and script during the Covid lockdown was a long dry haul in terms of not having anything new to play. But taking the time to do so may have nearly doubled our content output going forward. Of course it'll take a few more chapters to know what the real time savings is going to be. But the early numbers look real good for us.
And did I mention the playtest had nearly no bugs except for missing fonts!!!!
I'm also looking to make a few more changes to how I write that will expedite image generation a bit further by removing some unneeded complication from my story, but all in all I think we're finally on the right track.
I'm excited about where we go from here as making the game is just becoming easier and easier!
Our next big time saving will come from getting the second computer up and running! More on that as it develops.
