I was wondering if the one Roman just released on his patreon is the same as the one in the OP.

no, the new version isn't here yet, the OP will be updated when it isIsn't that the old version though? (It's dated 27th of October 2020)

Just what I was trying to say, in not so many words. 40 hasn't been "grandpa" for at least a couple of centuries, unless your tribe is being featured in National Geographic. Even first-time fathers are averaging mid-30s now.40's used to be grandpa age because people were getting married and fucking at 13 years old.
Yeah, I was the first one through that gate in my whole group of friends, at the barely-out-of-kindergarten-age of almost 30 ... I'll be 60 atleast before I see any grandkids if the trend continues.Just what I was trying to say, in not so many words. 40 hasn't been "grandpa" for at least a couple of centuries, unless your tribe is being featured in National Geographic. It was not centuries ago, maybe a century at most.Just what I was trying to say, in not so many words. 40 hasn't been "grandpa" for at least a couple of centuries, unless your tribe is being featured in National Geographic. Even first-time fathers are averaging mid-30s now.
Phenik rolling up in here like...It was not centuries ago, maybe a century at most.
The average age people gave birth to their first child in the US in the 1920s was something like 20 for people without a college education. Add 2 years for college degree, and add a further 2 for masters. In the 1940s/1950s the average age for women to get married was 18/19, add 2 years for average age for men.
Yep Daisy Taylor is hot.Actually I was watching some Daisy Taylor video and realized the game needed more Dyack!
She makes me questions things about myself that I thought were unquestionable.Yep Daisy Taylor is hot.

Considering how bad discovery is on Patreon without F95 I wouldn't be supporting any of the devs I currently do!Besides, I've never had a version leak on F95 that didn't almost immediately result in an increase in patrons. Turns out, it's good advertising and when you're making a good product, people want to help you do it.
And there you go, now you have way more information that you wanted.![]()
Why are you updating an aboned game???Alright savages, the new links are up and the official release is out.
If you're going to pirate my shit, make sure you don't delete the links to v1.1.5 from the OP because the latest version doesn't contain all that content.
Players may still want to access that version before playing v2.0.0.

Dear overlord. I am not able to change Cassie's last name using the notebook. Is that normal or an error? I can change it but it is not saved.
In version 1.1.5 or in 2.0.0?Dear overlord. I am not able to change Cassie's last name using the notebook. Is that normal or an error? I can change it but it is not saved.
I can change the others' surnames but not Cassie
In the test 2.0. It says initial of my surname and ...something but no matter how many times I click on save it is not saved. In version 1.1.5 or in 2.0.0?
In 1.1.5 the code was written to always overwrite her name (oversight on my part.)
In v2.0.0 I changed this so that if her name was altered it would keep the new name and no longer overwrite it. If it was not altered, it would continue to do the overwrite.
Let me know which version you're playing so that I know if I need to go on a witch hunt in the code.
The test version in the OP was posted before I made that correction. In the test 2.0. It says initial of my surname and ...something but no matter how many times I click on save it is not saved.
Also, I had to manually tell characters to use my name in that part, as all of them had Roger, except Jane that had mcname or something.
EDIT: I can change Cass name but not her surname. So I guess it is a bug?
And just to ease my paranoia I double checked the code a moment ago.In the test 2.0. It says initial of my surname and ...something but no matter how many times I click on save it is not saved.
Also, I had to manually tell characters to use my name in that part, as all of them had Roger, except Jane that had mcname or something.

if "cassie_h" in scribe._cast and not scribe._cast["cassie_h"].manually_changed:
scribe._cast["cassie_h"].lName = "{}...Something".format(mc.lName[0].upper())
I will simply subscribe again, you deserve it. I cannot keep it indefinitely (too many projects I would love to support), but the least I can do is subscribe every month in a while, specially when you release. And just to ease my paranoia I just double checked.
The new code is:
This tests to see if you manually altered her entry and if you did it just leaves it alone. And if you never manually changed her then it will default to the ...Something surname.Code:if "cassie_h" in scribe._cast and not scribe._cast["cassie_h"].manually_changed: scribe._cast["cassie_h"].lName = "{}...Something".format(mc.lName[0].upper())
I am honestly honored by any amount anyone invests for any amount of time. (Especially when they can usually get it for free here.)I will simply subscribe again, you deserve it. I cannot keep it indefinitely (too many projects I would love to support), but the least I can do is subscribe every month in a while, specially when you release.
I was flying through my mega-post of responses so quick I realize now I only said "Happy Birthday"Aw, thanks man! Just in time for my birthday! Been a subbed supporter since I found this hidden gem of awesomeness back in November, great game!![]()
