Very nice, I can't wait to play their stories, though I have to say... Her hand looks a bit odd, at first I thought her finger was too long, then I realized what it was. It's unusual for the other fingers to all be able to go all the way down when flipping the bird, at best it's uncomfortable for most of us, for many it's downright impossible. Try it, you will see what I mean. Most of the time at least one or two of the fingers next to the middle one will be up to the first knuckle as well. Not that I am complaining, but since it is the focal point of the image, I thought I would point it out for future reference.

I'm kidding of course. You're right, now that you've pointed it out. But it's a small discrepancy that I can live with and it'll just have to do. Besides, I'll take some over-extended digits over the floating hands I see in a lot of other games. =D

Glad you're excited though. I'm excited too! I'm so ready to be done with this update and start working on a new one. I've spent too much time with these three girls. I'm anxious to produce more material for Emily and Cassie in particular.

I'm not RomanHume, but if I spend so much time learning to render and write code and whatnot, the hell would I give up any time soon.

Not to mention that anyone who follows his interactions with us here knows how fucking pumped the guy is for telling us his story, his game.
I remain fairly optimistic.

I appreciate the vote of confidence. I guess since the end goal for me is to do this full time, I look at all the studying, learning and education as future job training. But these last two weeks I have to say I feel like I'm really hitting the top of my skill and I'm very proud of the material I've put together by myself these last few weeks.

I have plans to clock how much time I spend on each part of the process starting with the next release. I figure once I do that a few times I'll get a good benchmark on how long it takes me to produce and then I can start setting more accurate delivery estimates.

I appreciate you hanging in there though. I know it hasn't been easy for me or for you guys. Thanks again!

Yeah, very minor thing, just pointing it out for next time, mostly because I know you guys care about quality. It's hard to turn off the 'editor' in me, I am almost always looking for ways to improve things, no matter how good they are (just like I get upset when people change things for the worse).

This is one I have been looking forward to for a while, I am both curious about Lola's story, as well as Lita being one of the more attractive girls in the game, IMO (though what you have said about her story fills me with a bit of trepidation.

Flip the bird, normally. Look at your fingers. Where are they?

When I do it, with my wrist straight, my middle finger is at about 75 degrees, my index and ring fingers are about 35 degrees, and my pinky is about 0 degrees. I can force my hand into the position in the image, but I have to use my other hand to do it, and it hurts.

Here is Fred Rogers flipping the bird. It doesn't look like the image - finger straight vertical, wrist straight with the hand in line with the arm, other fingers close to 90 degrees to the middle finger, thumb sticking out, not wrapped.

At the risk of sticking my nose where it doesn't belong, I don't see any problem with the middle finger. Different people flip the bird in different ways. I've known a few people personally who've used just about every variation. Thumb in, thumb out, surrounding fingers up a knuckle, etc. Or even just a full fist with the middle finger up. Personally, I'm in the full-fist, thumb-in camp. That's just what's natural for me. But everyone's different, so I see no need to worry about it too much. Maybe that's just her way of doing it.
