Running a i7-8700k, 16GB Ram, and 2 GTX 1070 graphic cards.

Part of the reason these last few scenes rendered so slow is because I have a bunch of background geometry I forgot to hide/delete and it's dragging the scene a bit.

Not watched a Daz3D stream before, I didn't realise it really was 3D, the whole area even behind the camera. i assumed it was just a nice background with embedded characters. I assume the pool scenes are slower because its a larger stage showing areas of the house and garden. Lol you just said that on the stream

Nah pool stuff is bad because of volumetrics. Lighting and Fluid take a lot to render properly.

So doing so many scenes in and around the pool is a form of masochism. A smaller room like a bedroom for example would be better
On a side note quite a lot of posts from roman so expect someone to ask if this game is abandoned in the chat soon

Normally true, but in this scene we just doing I had all the water and volumetrics off because it was a low angle shot and you couldn't see any of it. I had plants, tress and some other high poly geometry hiding behind the camera that was causing it to go sluggish. Once I deleted all that shit it flew through the test.

But yeah, normally water and smoke take a bit more power.

You mean Nanami? Yeah she is also one of the ones i most look forward in this game.

I might be wrong but not sure Nanami is due new events in the next update. Most of the delay has been due to a code rewrite to allow for consistent saves and gameplay going forward. Roman has confirmed the next release will contain Cassie event or events. Which he has been showing in his livestreams the last few weeks.
i think the plan was to them do events for Lupita, Monica and others who have the least events so far. but hey i could be wrong, someone might bribe Roman to do nothing but Lola content going forward...

2020-09-29 News

Damn, I guess it's already time for another news brief. It'll be short, I promise.

Why's it short? Because there's not much to report, and that's a good thing!

Every minute I've spent working on the game for the last two months has been spent either writing story or making art!
I've settled into the new groove and production is finally moving along at a faster pace than ever. Render time has gone up, but render quality is as good as I can make it.

Because of the new "no need to code" process, I can set up and do a live stream in about 10 minutes. Previously there was planning, and coding, and all kinds of stuff that needed done before I was ready to do live work.

Not anymore. Now it's just open the files, make some notes as I go, and crank out the art! We've done several live streams and I look to continue doing those so you can see progress happening in real time.

My goal this week is to do a live stream every day and wrap up Friday with another 5 hour stream.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Nothing happening except content creation and I look for it to remain that way for the indefinite future. It took some time getting things set up to this point, but I think we've made it!

I'm coming up on the half way point for Cassie's next chapter and should be done with scene 6 of 13 by the end of next week. By the end of Scene 6 which is about the half way point of the chapter, we've hit 7,000+ words and over 450 images. So it's shaping up to be a pretty meaty update!

If everything works out, I'll have six scenes ready to deliver for play testing to $10+ patrons sometime late next week or the week after depending on how long it takes for the computer to render images.

I'll keep you informed as things progress!

Is the MC/Roger's skin tone options still a work in progress?

That will be fully implemented in the next release as well, though be advised that I'm waiting until I get a second render machine up and running before I go back through the previous scenes and implement it. So the feature will work with Cassie's newest chapter but I have to go back and update all the previous content.
