Hi guys. This is the most touching game in terms of plot that I have played in a long time. I came across this game and the previous one on the Internet, evaluating only the appearance and without playing the game I rushed to the gallery of scenes, as in Goblin Conqueror. Out of idleness and by chance I came across reviews, and decided to play the game.
Most of all I liked the part of the story at the end, where we realize the truth in the museum, find ourselves in the tomb of dragons and clean up the graves, and in the end we pathetically defeat Velseus. It was unusual for me to play the game, realizing that in all its glory it was revealed only at the end, just like a musical composition with a climax in the finale, a detective story revealing the criminal in the final chapter, like alcohol intoxicating over time.
This is the first time I liked the story in a game like this, and I wanted to add the music from the game to my playlist - the composition that plays at the end (flute and brass when Reiri sits on the porch). How i can do it?)

Other than a worse translation and uncensored images, no. The dev is working on a new game now instead of DLC for this one and implied that said dlc might just become another sequel (unsure if DQ2 or another name like this one was Dragon as instead of Goblin 2)
Before I download, is there a button to remove the pubic hair? it's not something I'm fond of, but I see all the high reviews and feel it would be a great one to try if only for that one aspect that stops me.

Did you check the save folder ?
1. If the saves are still there and just don´t show ingame ... most likely the global.save is corrupted ...
The global.save holds the index of all save files ... if you just copy your old saves into a new game ... the index (global.save) is still empty ... hence they don´t show ingame ...
2. The global.save is set to ReadOnly ... then the index can´t be written ... hence the saves are not shown ingame ...
Workaround:
1. Backup your save files ... start a new game ... create new saves in the corresponding slots ... exit the game ...
Restore the save files from your backup ... but leave the global.save as it is ... start the game and have fun ...
2. Look at the properties of global.save and uncheck the ReadOnly box if set ... maybe you have to the steps of 1. afterwards ...

Doubt it. The old translation was done by an LLM and updated via a patch online. While one would think it'd just be a matter of dumping new CGs into old data folders, I'd hazard a guess it'd be more complicated than that. I'm fairly sure the new uncensored CGs would be named differently and any call from events for CGs in the old translation is not going to match the new names.
It'll be error galore every time an HCG would be called.
