To clarify a little more in addition to that earlier post: The main story of DI is effectively the sequel to SC, but with a different main character. Ivy's companion quest will revisit the old SC story of her and her sister. It will all tie together in the end, and can be told slightly out of order without hindering other parts. This is why I decided to just move on to DI and retell Ivy's story as a part of it. (Plus, Ren'Py > RPGMaker.)
I get it, i have never worked with RPGM but python is generally easy. Also RPGM feels outdated in many ways IMO. Some gameplay elements are just a waste of time (go to the adventurers's guild 1000 times for example).
Okay one more thing. SC was awesome, it had good amount of diversity, it was kinky but not too extreme. Danger romance and mystery, SC had it all :'( Ivy could have had a minotaur bf and stuff like that. I don't know shit about the newest patreon regulations but can we expect similar type of lewd content as it was in SC? (You mentioned that sex with a dragon is considered bestiality, so thats why im asking)

Ren'Py uses an even easier version of python. Switching from easy to use event blocks to writing actual code seems daunting at first, but Ren'Py is arguably easier than RPGM. I would run into things constantly with RPGM where I wanted to do something specific, but the engine code didn't support it. Things that could be considered simple by python standards required jumping through hoops with plugins and such.
Anyways, DI already has some monster girls in Act 1. Act 2 will have more animal-like characters. I want to stay on the side of humanoid and not delve too far into anthro stuff. Centaurs having most of a horse's body might no go so well with Patreon. Dragons are obviously not real animals, but I don't really want to temp fate. Light anthro and maybe a few mythical humanoids like the minotaur are about as far as I plan on going. Stick to fantasy, call it fantasy, and hope for the best.
As the game progresses, there will be more "fun" adult content, but still never going too extreme. Multiple partners, gloryhole, toys, etc. Once Ivy has high enough romance, you'll gain some control over certain things with her, like if she wears underwear or not. I'm open to suggestions for that kind of stuff as long as it doesn't upset the control-loving overlords that we must bend the knee to.

decides the focus of v0.1.7. Possible subsequent updates with less content while I work towards a bigger update for the beginning of Act 2.I expect the beginning of Act 2 to take longer than 1 month to make. I don't want to chop it up into monthly updates. Instead I'll be working towards getting everything ready for a big update in a few months. Since DI is going with monthly updates now, I'll be releasing smaller monthly updates leading up to Act 2 while working on Act 2 all the while.
The plan for this month is to add sound effects to scenes and the outfit system. The animations that didn't make it in the last update will be in this month's update. They're actually already done and added.
Sounds will be quite similar to how they are in GnB. Voices and sound effects will be split into their own audio channels. You'll be able to adjust volume or entirely mute either or both to your liking from the settings menu. I may add other sounds to other parts of the game in the future, but that's not the focus of this update.
All companions (currently) will have unique voice effects. All non-companions will share a set of generic voice effects. Female and futa MC will have unique voice effects. Male characters will not have voice effects. If you would like male companions and/or male MC voice effects, do tell. I'm not going to spend time on male voice effects if everyone is just going to mute them.
I don't plan on adding any music. The music I would have access to would most likely not compare to AAA game music. I expect most players would prefer to turn it off and play their own music, therefor I won't bother wasting time or resources. Ambiance is something I may consider in the future, though.
Outfits will be available from the blacksmith and his wife. There will be 4 new outfits in this release. You will need to purchase them with gold. The only way to get gold currently is from the apothecary mini-game. More ways to get gold will be added in the future, such as the mage's guild side-quests. For now, you'll have to put up with a little bit of grinding. (Don't forget the "discount"!)
Once you have an outfit, you can "equip" it from the inventory. Outfits will not be reflected in the few instances you see your MC during the story. Most of the game is POV anyways. Instead, I plan to have unique scenarios that will only play out if you have the correct outfit. There's a planned scene with the slimegirl that involves wearing the swimsuit, for example. Some outfits might not tie in with anything, and exist purely for aesthetic/collection purposes.

v0.1.3 Change-Log
- Act 1 story can now be completed.
- Added the first puzzle. It involves colors. I've included a skip button for those that may struggle with colors or puzzles. Feedback welcomed.
- Added 1 new scene with the unique couple in Seasalt Village.
- Added new "Other" section to gallery for the new scene and similar future scenes.
Known bug: Gallery icons for the futa versions of the new scene are swapped. Will be fixed in a later version.
v0.1.4 Change-Log
- Added pregnancy for Tabby the catgirl. Advancing her pregnancy and giving birth are done through her companion menu interactions.
- Updated Tabby's scene for pregnancy variants.
- Added a few new images for while Tabby is pregnant. Updated several existing images.
- Babies can be visited at the Nursery location after giving birth. Images are available for up to 5 babies per character. Having 5+ babies with a character will simply display the image for 5 babies.
- Notes: Pregnancy content is fully fetishized. It's not meant to be realistic. Babies will never be involved in any adult content. Pregnancy for some other companions will be added later. Female MC pregnancy soon!
- The gallery has been updated to include pregnancy variants for applicable scenes. (Just the 1 at the moment.) These were deliberately made as hassle free as possible in regards to unlocking them. View the base scene at least once, get the character pregnant at least once, then all pregnant variants are fully unlocked for all of that character's scenes in the gallery, even if you haven't seen them in game yet.
- Probably added bugs. Fixed at least a few bugs. Report any bugs you find via Patreon/itchio/Discord. I check them all regularly.

- Fixed an instance of the MC's default name being used when a custom name was set.

Yes, the mushroom-girl companion with more planned soon. Everything is male-on-futa at the moment.

At the moment:
Male MC is always dominate with both female and futa/trans partners.
Female MC is always submissive with male and futa/trans partners. Female+female is more mutual than dom/sub.
Futa/trans MC is always submissive with male partners, switch with futa/trans partners, and dominate with female partners.
In future updates:
Anything not listed is possible based on number of requests/suggestions. Some unique scenes are also possible such as Futa/trans(Dom)+Male(Sub) for a specific male character that is never dominate. (Or multiple.)
Have received more than a few requests for milf content, which would likely lean more towards dom female partner with all MCs. Have had a few requests for futa-on-male, which would be dominate futa/trans.
Let me know what you would like to see more of.

Not sure what's up but dl from Vikingfile you get file size of 455,866 and dl from Mediafire you get file size of 835,958. Both have identical name with .zip file. I'm guessing if you download the smaller file size from Vikingfile people will get errors, I figure there are some files missing.
I have previous version which is DragonIncarnate-v0.1.2a-pc in .zip file and it was 790,369 kb.
