I saw the changelog said MC pregnancies were added, but noted that it specifically kept saying female MC, does that mean the futa MC can't get pregnant?

Most likely going to avoid anything in the NTR range. Perhaps some threesome content in the future. There's already one threesome scene, but not with party members. There are plans for male companions. Patreon has not been voting for them, so none have been added yet. The next companion will be trans/futa.
Futa MC can not get pregnant. She can get female companions pregnant. Only the catgirl is possible at the moment.
Don't suppose there's plans for the futa MC to be able to breed AND be bred? A "why not both?" option would be kinda fun during genital selection.

Thought I'd give this another shot after the new update to see how things are going.
Besides all the above stuff, this one is starting to grow on me. Though I am hoping we get some main story progress soon. Either way, thanks for the update.

As much as I would love to add more options, it's just not practical at the moment due to render times. The current development flow allows for pretty steady monthly updates. In the future perhaps?

The next few updates will be smaller while I work towards a bigger update for Act 2. It's looking like Mushy will be getting a new scene in v0.1.8 based on the current Patreon poll. Probably going with a 69 (with a fun ending) if she wins the poll. Her headpiece makes things a little complicated in regards to positions.

Yes, already possible with the new mushroom-girl companion. With her, the romance building is limited and jumps straight to sex. Male MC on futa/trans is the only option currently. If interest in futa/trans on male MC keeps growing, I'll adjust scenes to include that option, or add some new scenes.
More futa/trans companions are in the works. One will feature more traditional romance building (but no silly excess grinding for scenes). The other will be much more focused on the sex and less on the romance, though romance will still be possible.

There seems to be more interest in futa pregnancy than I expected. There are no immediate plans within the next few updates. If interest remains quite high, it will definitely be considered.

Overall it looks very promising, I like the setting, the girls are cute and the story so far has gotten me interested to see what'll happen next so that's good.
The only problem I have at the moment is the sex scenes, because they're honestly just kinda boring which is a real shame seeing as everything else is showing so much potential. It's not that they look bad or anything, it's just that there's not a whole lot going on and they're lacking passion and excitement.
The animations look nice and smooth and the writing isn't even bad. It's just that every scene I've seen (I've only played the FMC path but I assume it's pretty much the same for the other paths) consists of a single 2-3 second animation loop and are over in the blink of an eye. There's no buildup, no different angles, no foreplay and little to no images to show the before and after. It just basically goes straight to the loop that you'll be seeing for the duration of the scene and that's it, which is a bit underwhelming to say the least.
I know this game is pretty much entirely in first person and if you're dead set on keeping it that way even during sex scenes that's completely fine, because I do like the PoV (though it's a shame we don't get to see the FMC's face more because I gotta say she looks gorgeous..). Multiple protags but you pick the one you want and never play as the others unless you restart the game. Male protag only is available.

The next update will be quite small, just a new scene for the mushroom-girl. Despite that, I have been and will continue working on the Act 2 intro. As of right now, the story and dialog are all written. All of the new characters are fully made. Well, almost. One of them had an issue with the fox ears messing up the dforce on the hair. Soon as it's fixed, there will be a preview on Discord. The next step is to make and render all of the "cut-scene" images. Then finally put it all together with a new map screen.
There's also the new companion. Her first companion quest, which serves as her introduction in a way, will be available right away with Act 2. One of her scenes from SC will be fully remade with DI's MCs. More scenes and pregnancy content will be in future Act 2 updates.
Before we get to the Act 2 update, I do plan on having one more update for Act 1. This will include a submissively inclined male companion with at least his first companion quest and scene. I know the male companion isn't the most requested, but I planned from the start to add at least one male companion in Act 1. Going to make him more of a sub as dom female and futa MCs have been requested a few times. More dominant male companions can be added in the future if requested. Male+male adult content will not be added, at least for now. Male MC will still be able to recruit the male companions and complete their quests.
I plan on adding DI to the Patreon shop feature pretty soon. I always like to inform you before making changes like this. Prices will not change. The latest version of DI will remain as subscription only. The second latest version will be added to the shop at the one-time-price of $10 USD. It will be updated monthly, one version/update behind the other. That is exactly the same as the current itchio option. In addition, I'll continue adding the option to buy access to the latest monthly update post without needing to deal with recurring payments for those that prefer said option.
I may also add the older games to the Patreon shop. I won't remove them from the subscription option. Everything that is currently available will remain as is, with the new additions being alternatives. I may remove DI from the subscription option in the future in favor of having it remain in the shop as a one-time-price only. This would only happen when DI is complete and development of the next game has begun. The new game would then replace DI as the subscription option. All of that is a ways away, though.
Also considering bringing back the TOTs. Monthly Patreon updates would bounce between new DI updates and new TOTs, like it was at one point before. When a new TOT is released, the previous would go to the shop. This would allow for more time in between DI updates, leading to less frequent but hopefully higher quality updates. Less "one scene updates" and more polished, content filled updates. I intend to remain focused on getting DI to Act 2 for right now. Let me know if this is something you would prefer for post Act 2 DI updates. I still have dozens of ideas for new TOTs written down. We could just stick with the current smaller monthly DI updates and no TOTs if you prefer.
