The character modeling and animation quality are far superior to other games I’ve tried.

You are missing Alice, but yeah i get what you mean, i like Summer but i prefer Alice, atleast for now don't know what shit will happen...
Alice knows the MC isn't traveling with family and she herself is a mega-sheltered young woman with a super over-protective father, meaning she's not the kind of person who's got a bunch of opposite-gender friends she spends time with. Plus she has the hots for the MC. It would be surprising if she interpreted that scene as anything other than "potentially romantic"
Yeah her being possibly a bit "psycho" is the point of the observation. Given the tone of the game I'm on the lookout for that in a way I wouldn't be otherwise in a VN
Shrugs. With this VN anything is possible. I hope she doesn't turn out to be like the other Lis but given the way the game is who knows.
It's not "70s absurd storytelling" lol. It's slashers. It has many of the characteristics of slashers but transposed into an AVN: morally dubious/unlikeable characters; incompetent authorities/plotarmored villain; and yeah, some absurd developments.
What I don't understand is how this stuff still has to be argued about every single update. None of this stuff is new.
Maybe the slasher refs just don't do it for lots of people and they think it's low-brow or whatever. But complaining endlessly about those elements is just beating a dead horse. You're allowed to have guilty pleasures without needing to signal how bad it is

I think that's the point, I personally like it and if you add to that the smoking hot girls and nice renders you get a good AVN (for me), but I'm also slowly sliding into my 50s so totally get the references and take them for what they are.
Some might be younger, or maybe just not into this at al, and it's all good, but considering the absolute slop you can find around, right out saying this is bad it's a bit too much imo.

However, I hope he does with some wrong choices (ala Supermassive games)...I'd love it...the godamn tears in this thread would be absolutely on an epic level lmao.

I think you're right on the money. Slashers are largely a thing of the past so a lot of people probably see this game as a weird combination of random tropes.
I personally don't even like slashers that much, but I get the references and l like to see a new premise for an AVN other than the classic "dude goes to college" and "dude goes back to his hometown after a tragedy".
And it's also fine to not like the VN overall, but at a certain point if someone is going to keep engaging with the game they just need to accept the premise for what it is. If I played say a furry game despite not liking furry stuff (because maybe it has a unique gameplay feature or really good non-furry scenes mixed in), I wouldn't go in the comments every update to bemoan the presence of bunny ears or tails on some of the LIs lol

I doubt Dev would be bothered by it. He just does what he does, and it seems like he doesn’t give a shit what people think.
Honestly, I’d find it hilarious if he started killing off LIs, 2 of my favs already seem to have some shenanigans behind MC’s back, so… to hell with all the others too

when i played the last version i was thrilled at the end, and i couldn't wait for thenext update.
now, i didn't like very much that we skipped to the next day, with the pier scene, and the "it was a surprise" thing that whole argument was too short and honestly for a game divided in chapters this feels very short, like its part 1 or something

Alright the story is needlessly 'mysterious' without anything happening, choices from previous dont matter either so time to drop this i guess, But Summer is likeable somewhat so might check in for that,

But in a game thats different, you are involved in it, you get decision, in a movie there are none,
So when a game gives you decisions/choices you expect some changes, you want not take the 'asshole' choice ( I bet majority of the folk saved Summer from the bar, even if they picked others to unlock gallery they came back to main save) and you are directly connected to it , So you feel more toward it, cant turn 'brain off' vs movie
Considering the massive support the dev has this level of writing is bad, I guess the animation /renders, how they are designed is the best thing about em.
Lea seems popular reminding folk of Hot-Megan fox days.

I mean, i completely agree with you there. The only problem i kinda see with that is, they don't get diced, or at least i don't think so, sadly. Now would you like this kind of movie if they don't die and instead you should like or care about the cast and the plot ?
For me, the only reason to watch that kind of movie is because i want to see them die and in the most entertaining ways. I don't care about the cast or the plot in this kind of movies, because as you said, the cast is mostly unlikable and the plot isn't great either.
Personaly i would absolutely love it if our choices would lead to LI's and Alex getting sliced and diced...i mean, only care about Summer and Alice at this point...but frankly, i think getting them all murdered sounds more fun, or at least most of them.
