So, what I suggested before is still relevant IF the game needs to be pulled. Essentially Lewdlab could use the patreon site as a contact point for supporting the creation of artwork, but then on other forums it is noted that 'you should support Lewdlab's art if you like the game'. Then the game links can be provided via email as usual (to those that are on the list), without ever mentioning the actual game on the Patreon site (if simply putting it behind the paywall isn't enough).
That way, people can still patronize Lewdlab and provide support for the game, at least through completion. Plus maybe Lewdlab can generate a little 'side revenue' making fun portraits.
