Your character finds out the evil organisation is the Illuminati, where they intend to use the book to summon the greatest of demon overlords, Jeff Goldblum, from the 5th dimension of Nebulus. Your character will proceed to rip-off Evil dead's Ash quotes while dressed as a Lobster as he declares himself God Emperor of Mankind and lord of all bitches as he tries to establish his own regime. Anyway generic creepy black things will bring forth their master, Pepe, who is locked in eternal conflict with Jeff Goldblum. Mom will at some point reveal her fetish for plumbers and you embrace your true role as Mario while battling your way (mario mini-game style) towards the final castle, here when confronted Alice appears and says "You did it Player! But Mom is in another castle!" Credits role for Dreams od Desire 2
...Or more probably the group is some pseudo cultist group with government ties that is trying to harness the power of the book via sacrificing you in the hopes of controlling the Void creatures, which will probably inevitably backfire in some epic Lovecraftian moment where all your previous decisions decide who lives and dies...and Alice is 90% probably involved (as well as Abi whose there to bait you) as the story is throwing way too much shade on Tracy. (Tracy and mom ftw)
