I did go that way too.But later decide I like her way too much and change to romance path.
I have the feeling that the more rewarding path with Tracy will be the romance route.Not to mention probably this way MC will prevent something bad to happen.

When it comes to Tracy i got shivers down my spine when it was at this fashion store, where you could see her face and she answered "You make me crazy" that facial expression of hers i was like "daaaaaaamn"

The doctor guy is probably count duku, the guy that follows the orders of someone more sinister and secretive. And the publisher could be Palpatine, after all the whole magic thing started because the Mc was helping mom with research
