He did already. Unfortunately he used GoFile (which is taking a dump for everything apparently) and UpToBox, which is about as bad as SVS.

So in order to get the update, we need to download the whole thing + update/patch? My concern is with saves. Do we create back ups and simply insert them into the new downloaded game or do we after unziping replace old game with new game + update/patch and saves remain unnafected?

Note the "ideal". Uptobox doesn't meet all the criteria, however it allows filesizes up to 200GB with minimal ads, and whilst speeds fluctuate, it's usually speeds of 2mB/s+ for free users.
The uptobox isn't taking up the space of any other host, we just upload to as many approved services as possible at any one time.
